These look easier to install them. They really are no dig on the actual product itself. You should just know that you need to get tools. If you don’t have them I had to get a slide hammer from the local auto store to get mine off. The installation, however was very simple.

I can't speak for the longevity of this part. I never buy car parts on amazon. But I was doing a wheel hub on my 2013 Chevy Volt and noticed the ripped boot on my axle. No car part store had anything in stock and I didn't want to wait that long and this would deliver next day. So I took a chance. It fit perfectly. It had the new nut and the little cap on the end that goes into the transmission. So it had everything. It seems very nicely built. And fit perfectly. How long will it last? Not sure. Fingers crossed.

I should have known better than to buy this cheap axle. Axle failed internally in less than 6 months. Product claims it has a 1 year warranty, however, good luck claiming that warranty. I went around in circles trying to get it warrantied but they just kept asking me to send a photo - how do I send a photo of an internal failure? They then wanted a "report" from a mechanic. No one is paying a mechanic to put in a sub $100 Axle. I offered to send back the failed axle but got no where. Bottom line, this axle is poor quality and they do not stand behind their warranty.

I haven’t installed it all the way yet. My car is sitting with the old joint out. The splines inside the axle I received have small bits of metal on them. Tomorrow my father is bringing over some Machinists files and we are going to try and sand some of the bits off. Maybe I’ll update this review to a 4 after our cleanup work tomorrow. Depends on if we can get the damn thing in the car. We shall see. I’m aggravated because this has kept my car out of action for 3 days and since I was laid off, Uber Eats has been my best interim job, and my car sitting without a CV joint is hurting my delivery time…

Poor quality, replaced both axle on Chevy Volt and was informed the axle is not true. Had to pay again to remove and replace with a better quality product. Recommend you shop for better quality to save paying labor to install and remove.
