I ordered these 2 front struts for my 2011 ford edge sport FWD, for my husband to put on for me, i was quoted 1200 by an auto shop, so this saved me tons of money, the set they sent me came with a defective driver side strut that was cross threaded accidentally by the manufacturer, however a short phone call to detroit axle and they send me a free replacement within 3 days, and i was able to throw away the defective part, now i have both of my front struts installed and my edge is riding like new, maybe even better, i have the sport with the 22" tires so a smooth ride on these is hard to find, thank you very much for the amazing parts, also id like to add that my ride height was not altered and there is no noise, easy installation, and a soft ride. ... show more

This is my second purchase from Detroit Axle. Honestly I'd never heard of them before. But my first purchase for my Ford Edge 2013 was for outer tie rods, which were great, and now for these struts. Overall, they're perfect and the quality is excellent. I didn't have to modify anything on the product to make it fit.. Even when I finished replacing my struts and took my vehicle for a drive, no pull, no vibrations, no anything. Just smooth. Feels like a genuine Ford product but at an OEM price. These arrived so quick I got them the next day, and they were super well packaged. Highly recommended. Now I don't go "clunk" around the corners and saved myself about $1,000. First off, the part is heavy, appears well made and fit perfectly. Would I buy them again, probably not. If I had to do it over again I probably would have paid more for OEM parts. The ride is rough and loud compared to the original. Maybe just not a great match for a Lincoln? That being said, they were cheap, went in easy, and are doing what they are supposed to. 700 miles in and no problems. I will update if anything happens. ... show more
