This took works great for dog car in my car! My dogs shed A LOT and have hair that gets stuck in the fubers & is resistant to vacuuming. This took works great and is an excellent size for getting into the smaller and oddly shaped area of car carpeting. The attached "after" photo is from just a few quick swipes. It really gets out everything if you go back over it a couple times. Definitely my new go-to tool for getting the dog hair out of my car! It is on the smaller side and could take a long time if using it over a bigger area. It's a hard but flexible plastic edge and doesn't feel like I'm damaging the carpet at all.

I have two dogs with short wiry hair that is a nightmare to get out of car carpet. Thought this Detail Demands pet hair remover would be worth a try. You scrape it across the carpet in small swipes on either of the sides with ridges and it pulls up the hair pretty well. It is small, it's described as 'mini', so it takes a while and is kind of tedious, but nothing I have tried thus far pulls up the hair like this does. I'd recommend a vacuuming, use the pet hair remover, then one more vacuum. I'm pretty happy with it. I haven't tried it on clothing or on furniture because the main reason I wanted it was for the carpet in the vehicles. I imagine it works pretty well on a low pile rug, probably better than in the car.

This product has helped get into edges of my car that are difficult to get with a vacuum. Once you figure out the best way to do it, this pushes the hair and dirt out of corners and edges to make it easier to clean. It’s not completely perfect because embedded pet hair is a struggle, but it works good for corners and angles. I wish the comb side/ grooves were more prominent. This is gentle and will not damage car floors. I tried a metal pet hair remover in the past and it damaged the carpet by pulling pieces of it out.

The media could not be loaded. As you can see from the video, this works great at gathering hair I couldn’t even see. With an Aussie mix and a Jeep Wrangler she loves to ride in, it seems hair gets embedded into the carpet. This worked so good I think I’ll keep it there as a part of my tool kit. In conjunction with a shop vac this is the ticket. It fits good in the hand hand and the triangular side works great for bends and curves. There’s a smooth side and teeth on the other side. It made short work out of the hair and didn’t pull any carpet fibers up like a metal hair remover would have. Great purchase.

I do needle felting using a wool felting mat and I was looking for a tool to remove stray wool that sticks to the mat. This tool is great for me because it is small and flat and easily stores in my bag with other supplies. It is a piece of hard plastic with small teeth on one short side and one long side that can be used to pull up embedded wool. While perfect for me, I am giving it 4 stars because it is so small I can't imagine using it for pet hair on a sofa or carpet. Also, metal teeth would more effectively lift pet hair.
