I read the description that stated it was appropriate for my 9th generation tablet. Upon unboxing, I was so happy with the product! Felt like it was made to last. Unfortunately my tablet did not fit it was a hair too big. Super disappointed because I wanted this particular stand.

We use this stand as a lobby sign-in kiosk at our office. The metal frame sandwiches an iPad snugly and securely locks with a key-based system. The base is sturdy and does not wobble. The frame has a hole for the iPad camera; it is aligned properly and fully exposes the camera lens. A security loop can also be added to further secure the stand to a desk/table. The tethered stylus is also an added bonus. However, the stylus holder is in an awkward location behind the iPad. As a result, visitors do not often see the stylus until after they have signed in using their finger. The stand is not what I would consider sleek or attractive...but it is not garish or offensive to the eyes either. The black metal material and shape result in a utilitarian industrial look. I absolutely love these stands! We have one at both of our locations, and it's on the priority buy list when we begin expanding more into our region. Very solid, doesn't wobble even when it's not secured to the counter and the stylus is absolute genius - I'm surprised no other stands had that idea. It locks with a key and comes with a backup just in case. And finally, the ability to rotate the pad to horizontal, portrait and anywhere in between seals the deal. My only issue is that the stylus blends so well into the stand (color-wise) that customers don't realize it's there to use unless we either put it on the counter beside the stand, which makes it look messy, or if they happen to look from an angle as they approach. Have not mounted them yet but I think they will work nicely. They rotate and do not swivel. Have foam pieces to right size if needed.

It does lock your iPad in. But you can’t charge it while it’s locked in, and you can’t easily bolt the stand down.
