I was used to the deep pour epoxy and really worried about viscosity and bubbles when I first used this. I bought it with the intention of making my brother some dice for the holidays and wanted something that would hold mica powder better. The larger bubbles in the heavier epoxy came up easily and using a pressure pot for small molds easily produced dice with no bubbles and great color using cap molds. I used other brands of resin in the past but thought I would try this brand because of all the positive feedback on my resin sights. Well, I have given this a try and it is the strongest smelling resin to date that I have used and the bubbles are terrible! I am new at this resin thing and am happy to have found food safe. However, there are a lot of bubbles! I have used a few others, and this one is like champagne! If you can get all of them, the finished product is gorgeous, it's just getting there! I have used a heat gun and torch, still a LOT of bubbles. I am going to continue trying to find one that makes less, but I have an idea now how this one works, and it is in my toolbox! ... show more

    • Takes long than the other resins I use to mix.

I am mixing small batches (4oz or less). If I need to mix more I will use a "mixer). Bubbles are small but need to rest before pouring. The working time is shorter than other resins I use. I was very happy with the end result. Because of the smaller bubbles it is possible to get a very smooth surface. I did use the drop method with alcohol ink. It turned out better than any other resin I have used with the ink. I am older, with alot of pain in my hands so I will use thinner resin for most things but when superior quality is important I will be using this resin. ... show more
