I got these for my dad. He was learning to use them in an art class. They came on time. The colors transfer to paper really well! They work well for the project he is doing but I can’t make comment if its to standard for professional artists. But they have been wonderful so far!

Big Wow Factor! I love art supplies, and a pencil that is ink... way up there in the cool zone. I am a multi-media artist and utilize canvas, paper and textiles at one point or another. You only get six colors but wanted to try out this pencils & the shades are well-selected. About the pencils themselves: They're terrific! They have a great laydown & aren't waxy like other Watercolor Pencils.

These are very nice. They are very intense when you add water, unlike watercolor pencils, which are nice, but tend to be dimmer. Very vibrant, and I will use Derwent Inktense pencils over my Prismacolor watercolors. I have even gifted some to my family, and they love them as well.

Intense color when wetted with a brush and water. Can control the intensity by application of less pencil. Perfect for use with a sketchbook and water pen on watercolor paper or regular sketchbook. Use for thumbnail and value sketch or en plein air!
