I splurged on this device after nicking myself several times with the manual dermaplaner. I love the way it feels in your hand. I'm still perfecting how to stretch my skin and use it on both sides of my face. (The left side feels fine, I'm a bit awkward on the right side of my face). It holds a charge for multiple uses. This is my very first Amazon review after making Amazon purchases for years. I have an autoimmune disease that causes my hair to fall out. The medication that I use encourages hair growth on my scalp as well as on my face. I have tried many different things for my excessive facial hair, including cream that burned my skin. Once I tried the Luxe Plus DermaFlash, my life changed. It was so worth the price! I'm able to exfolliate facial hair so easily and completely now. My skin looks so smooth and fresh now that I seldom wear makeup on a daily basis. It is definitely worth the money! The product disappointed me because it doesn't take off all of my fine baby hairs. It does exfoliates the skin though. After I used it, I noticed lots of baby hair still on my face. It just diesnt cut close enough. I usualky can wait a month before I get my face dermaplaned at the salon, but not with this product. The razor that they use at the salin is much cheaper than this machine and lasts longer. The point in buying this is it is supposed to save me money. It doesn't if it inly lasts half the time and I have to buy more replacement razors. Very disappointed. ... show more

After seeing some questionable reviews I almost did not order this derma planer. So glad I did. It has kept a good charge and has done an excellent job without scratches or burning! Blades are expensive but it works great!

I have used my dermaflash 3 times, the original battery charge died, and now it will flash on the charger (indicating that the plug works) but does not charge. It won’t turn on. My return window passed over a month ago, so $200 down the drain. Trash product!

I was very skeptical. The high price made me delay in purchasing. Finally I decided to try it. For years I’ve had Derma planing done by an aesthetician but that also is pricey and time consuming. I’ve been embarrassed and frustrated with facial peach fuzz as I’ve gotten older. Well I can tell you without hesitation I recommend this product! I’ve been shaving my face and waxing my face for awhile now. After I would do either, I would break out. This last time, with a fresh razor, I broke out the worst I’ve ever broken out in the last four years. I’m still dealing with the aftermath, so I decided to try something different. The price point is steep but my goodness is it worth it. My acne is scabbing up and this tool gently exfoliates the dead skin layer. My skin is so smooth. My make up is perfect. I do want to note that we all have facial hair and it’s okay. You do not have to shave your face if you don’t want too, but if you have a lot of peach fuzz and it really bothers YOU, then this is a great tool. Don’t do anything you don’t wanna do. Beware that Amazon might send you the wrong color! I ordered the color stone. Tiny label said stone but the box showed a bright pink one. Inside was a bright pink one, obviously. Too much of a pain to return or exchange so I'm keeping it. This item is easy to use once you get used to the angles to hold it at for maximum effectiveness without scratching the skin.
