The foundation’s texture is like a firm mousse for the skin, and with the correct primer and setting powder, you will definitely look flawless. Better than Dermablend and CHEAPER! Plus they actually had my shade. I went to Ulta a week ago looking for Dermablend to cover my neck tattoo. Nothing was my shade. It took 3 products (totaling over $100 to cover my tattoo and it looked ORANGE on me). So I returned it back. I ordered Dermacol instead because I heard it was a nice alternative. And I’m glad I did! Better coverage and the shade matches me PERFECTLY. It doesn’t cover it completely. I do have. Giant SUPER dark neck tattoo. But it does enough for me to cover it for work meetings without anyone having issue. :)

First off, let me give you a background of me, my skin, and why I bought this make-up. I am a 41 year old woman, and had acne as a young adult, so I have scars. I have mild crows feet, and dark circles under eyes that I was literally born with. Over all the texture of my skin is smooth, aside from the not too deep scars mainly on my cheeks. Insteps YOUTUBE, in all it's glory with more than 75,000 videos on a product called Dermacol. I had just purchased the Mally Soft Focus Finish, and I am IN love with that product, but since the rage seemed to be Dermacol, I decided to try it for more coverage for the mild wrinkles, and for sure the acne scars. Now, I am not 100% sure this product is the real deal, but the packaging looks like it is. It was indeed very thick, and even though I watched 100 videos on which color is best for someone with my skin tone, the one I ordered was too dark. I decided to give it whirl anyway, thinking if it really worked like YouTube says it does, then I will order another tube in a shade lighter. I won't be doing that. I am not sure WHAT matte looking make-up these girls on YouTube are using, but it's NOT what I ordered. After applying the first layer I noticed right away that it felt like and oil slick, and smelled like an tire shop, rubber? Odd. My mild wrinkles now magnified to 1000 times worse, and the acne scars actually looked larger and deeper! EGAD! I was not OOOHHHINNNG and AHHHHING like the YouTube videos. I tried to apply a second coat, and while it did paint my face, the way that it coated it was horrific! I quickly got a washcloth and my face soap and removed it. ONLY, I couldn't. After 5 clean washcloths, half a bottle of face soap, and even some shampoo, I was stained. It was not coming off. PLEASE beware. I also opened the bottle a little while later to make sure the cap was on and oil was oozing out of the tube. I couldn't even cap it back up because my hand was too slick! While someone somewhere might be getting a great product, they aren't all created equal, and not all faces are either. I'm sticking with the Mally Soft Focus, it has great coverage, smells great, and gives my skin a healthy clean glow.

If you’re looking to cover a bruise or even tattoo, this product is amazing! The only thing I would keep in mind is your undertones. The color I chose had more pink undertones when it seems like I am more of a yellow undertone. Still covered perfectly though!

Yes it gives 100% coverage with minimal product, a little bigger than a pea sized ball covered my entire face however that is where my compliments end. The texture and the tackiness even hours later was not something that I liked. I use both the setting powder and a setting spray and it still transferred all of my makeup tools my brushes have smudges all over them my jacket collar had white all over it because it transferred hours later I reached her something in my car and the makeup transferred and smeared across the seat when I hugged my husband it got on his shirt if this is not something that you can wear in a day-to-day life however if you're taking pictures or trying to cover tattoos it's absolutely perfect but it is not transfer resistant at all.

I’m getting this tattoo removed so it’s pretty faded and I kind of just hurried and put this dermacol on without any primer or actual prep so it didn’t last me all night. Since the tattoo is near a flexor it kept coming off on my upper arm which is fine. About 4 hours in you could see the tattoo again but I do think it’s because I hurried and slapped it on before my serving job. I think if you prepped and took your time it would last all day. I love that is feels like clay. It wasn’t uncomfortable. I mixed 207 and 208 and I’m kind of tan right now so it was a little light for me.
