Well I have not yet gotten good results and that is probably because I haven't been using the correct type of alcohol fuel. Comes with a wick as pictured, and a cap for extinguishing the flame.

Not as economical as a candle but works great and can be adjusted through the length of the wick to raise or lower flame intensity. I need a very low flame so that my wick is very short and at the level of the up stand. Remember to order or secure fuel.

Don't know what kind of wick they use on this thing, but I can't put more than a thimble full in or it will keep wicking and get all over everything. Of course, I'm using it for kerosene or lamp oil which may be the problem.
