Just unboxed this car dent puller set in the garage this afternoon while trying to figure out how to pop out a annoying little ding on the side door. The kit comes with one large suction pad and two smaller ones, featuring a durable rubber bottom and a solid metal core handle that feels sturdy in your hands. I started by wiping down the metal surface and pouring some warm water over the dent to help the rubber grip better, then locked the dual handles downward to create a tight seal. Pulling it outward firmly took a bit of muscle, and after a couple of tries, the metal popped right back into place without harming the original paint. The suction power is impressively strong, though you do have to make sure the rubber cup covers an area wider than the dent itself and rests completely on a flat, smooth spot. One minor thing to keep in mind is that the spring-loaded handles can snap back rather quickly if you are not careful when releasing the lock mechanism. The compact size of the smaller pullers also makes them easy to toss into the trunk storage compartment alongside emergency tools so they are always on hand. It is surprisingly versatile too since you can use the suction cups for lifting heavy glass panes or smooth tiles around the house when needed. Using this set turned out to be a easy DIY fix that saved a trip to the auto body repair shop for a minor blemish.
