I tried this Fixodent adhesive cream and it left a good impression on me. It is easily applied, you only need a little, and it keeps the teeth firm for hours. It gave me a lot of confidence when eating and talking, without that worry of him moving. In addition, it does not have a strong taste or is it uncomfortable. Fixodent Ultra Max Hold is fantastic! I've been using it for a while for fake fangs and other fake teeth for Cosplay and DnD related shenanigans and its brilliant. Not only does it hold up for 8+ hours of constant talking but it also holds through eating! I've been able to eat sandwiches, pork, pizza, cake, doughnuts, and all other kinds of stuff without staining, loosening, or causing pain. You don't need much to get the Fixodent to hold either. If you use more than necessary it does 'smoosh' out and get into your mouth. It will stick to the cracks between your teeth and make them a light pink. Its easy enough to get rid of by wiping, using a flosser, or swishing some water. If it still persists you can brush it out with a damp toothbrush. The taste isn't great, but its not offensive either. Just a momentary unpleasant taste. Texture is bizarre on the tongue, kinda like sticky sand? It feels fine on the gums and teeth, maybe a little tacky before it takes hold. This is well worth the money for my uses, its earned 5 stars! ... show more

Great product, bad dispenser. If the end had a rubber flange that made the end not get hard after use,vor stick to the cap and then to the denture, that would help. You always have to pick out the bits of sandy crap that dried on the cap and tip. They hurt.

Since I first got dentures approximately 15 years ago I have always used Fixodent Free And I've been very satisfied with that. But for some reason it's very hard to buy and it can cost a bit more so I decided to try this ultramax hold. It can claim to be the best hold out there but from my experience it really isn't. I use a partial for my lower teeth and with this product I had to reapply three or four times which doesn't happen with Free. I've tried others that aren't the fixodent brand and it's the same so I'm going to stick with Fixodent Free which my daughter buys in bulk for me from Amazon. ... show more
