Installed on a 2004 honda odyssey. Comes with pag oil, so you'll need to empty your old compressor so you know how much to leave in the new compressor (comes with instructions). Also had to attach an adapter from my old compressor (comes with all necessary o-rings). The electrical connector didn't match so I had to swap with the old one (minor inconvenience) other than those three things, it's a direct bolt on. Extremely happy with purchase. ... show more

Bought it because the Honda dealership wanted about two times the price and had the Honda dealership service dept. install it. They did so, but they SAID it required a minor modification, but that the mechanic said the modification was minor and he'd go with this part with the modifications if it were his car. I suspect the service writer was just trying to insert some F.U.D. (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) into the equation in my mind about "outside" parts in the event we did business with one another in the future, as the service depts. really don't like going around THEIR parts department-- although they understand the huge difference in price and that we're not all MADE of money. ... show more

Works as expected, connected with out issues and all the holes lined up. The previous owner replaced the compressor three years prior and already died. Not sure what happened but here we go again. This went into a 2002 Honda Odyssey. AC is still working a few months later

Quality original compressor without the high factory dealer cost. My a/c blows ice cold again. An automotive repair shop replaced my previous a/c compressor with a cheaper generic brand that lasted only three years. The removal and replacement was pretty straight forward for installation into a 2001 Honda Odyssey. I had a shop recover the refrigerant and recharge it after the install. Pag oil is already included in the compressor but you'll need to measure out the amount needed/unneeded. ... show more

Works great. Nice to get a new, OEM Honda / Denso air conditioning compressor for only ~$230. Dealers and other shops want much more. You should get 8 oz. PAG-46 oil, too. And a filter drier.
