I would think that many people who are looking to purchase this SD CF Card reader are facing the same issues that I am facing... Too many photos on my iPhone and/or iPad and having to buy extra iCloud space each month to accommodate them all. This card reader turned out to be the perfect solution to that problem. I simply insert one of a number of different sized memory cards (CF, SD or TF), open up the PHOTOS app and then copy selected pictures to the card. I will be more specific with the process in a moment. One thing you do need to realize is that iOS 13 seems to have locked some options. First of all, as the product description does state, the PHOTOS app will not automatically open upon inserting the card reader. That process stopped after iOS 12. It does support Two-way Transfer on iOS 13. I have included a photo to show you how it is done: Click 'Files' APP, find 'On My iPhone', long press a file, choose 'Move' and find the location of SD/TF/CF card, then transfer the file from iPhone to SD/TF/CF card (support files in Most formats). This is a really compact reader that is of exceptional build quality. I even took a good look at the lightning cable connector to see if it will stand up to the rigorous task of connecting/disconnecting and it appears that the plug is solid. Transfers from phone to memory card were pretty fast. I only had a SD card on hand, but upon selecting about two dozen photos from my iPhone library, I simply click on the share button -> save to files -> name of memory card. Due to the bulk of hi-res photos I selected, the transfer wasn't instantaneous, but they successfully transferred in about 20 seconds. I can then take the card out and view photos on another device, or even use it as storage for more photos I wish to safeguard. Best of all, there is no additional software needed. This is a simple plug and transfer device that works exceptionally well. Highly recommended!

I will possibly never do serious photography (which is 99% of the times) with a Smart Phone. The SLR and the glass lens is my thing and forever will be. I was looking for a solution that enables me to take pictures on my SLR and beam them instantly to family and friends. For many years I have had to get back to a hotel or home and connect to my Laptop download photos and then send them to friends via instant messages or emails or shared drive links. This is frustrating when you just want to send a few great photos that you captured. This product fits this use case perfectly. It works without any battery and is a joyful plug and play. I mostly use CF cards and it's as simple as insert the card into this reader, insert lighting connector to iPhone , go to Photos App and import ALL or SELECTED photos. Thats it ! Truly a great product. I am hoping its reliable and lasts for a long time.

I use an older but high-end Canon DSLR to take Nature and Wildlife photos on hikes. The camera is so old that it won’t back the CF card up to my iPad using a Canon USB cable and the Apple camera adapter for iOS. My workaround was to back up the CF card using a separate newer Canon camera and the same cable and adapter. I didn’t think this inexpensive DenicMic card reader would work, but the price was so cheap, I couldn’t resist giving it a try. Well, it works perfectly and the backup is speedy. Now I leave the iPad at home and back the images up to my phone. I can edit and share images immediately from wherever I’m taking images. (I haven’t had the card reader long enough to give a durability rating, but I wanted to give 5 stars because I’m pleased with the product)

This card reader works flawlessly for importing photos. Simply plug it in, insert one of the supported media cards and the Photos Import screen pops up. Well made, it seems to be durable. My only disappointment is, unless I’m unaware of a setting or alternate app to use, it is a unidirectional device and cannot be used to write photos/videos/files to any of the supported removable media types. It came with no instructions

I use my iPhone for videos when I’m out treasure hunting and one of my worries is that something will happen and I’ll lose all my videos that I have on my phone it’s nice that I can plug this in and transfer the videos off my phone onto an SD card and put it in a safe place until I can get back to civilization. It is extremely easy use however it does take some time to download due to the slowness of the transfer process However that should not be too are you from buying this if you take a lot of photos with your phone or videos and you just want to download them at the end of the day and you’re not by your computer this reader is a great idea to use

I have an old Nikon D3 and there is no wireless transfer with my compact flash. I purchased this with a lot of hesitation because some of the reviews said it didn't work. Well, this thing works really well and is probably one of the best photography purchases I've made. It is only $23 and it has made my life so much easier for transfer. Sometimes when I'm on the go, I skip lightroom and do a direct transfer to see how the image comes out when blown up. It is really fast. I also have a newer Nikon camera that does wireless transfer. The native wireless transfer is really slow. This is lightening fast and now I don't even use the wireless transfer anymore. It transfers in raw file and no compression whatsoever. I'm pretty delighted with this purchase. All the other workaround..tethering, wireless adapter, and all the other methods are tedious and expensive. This is the best solution yet.

This is a really neat product and has saved me so much time. I can take pictures and easily upload them to my phone now. On the down side, it will only make a connection if I take my phone case off. Not a big deal but that is the reason I gave it 4 stars. Plus while it’s loading just lay your phone flat on something. If you wiggle the cord in anyway it won’t have a good connection. Other than that, it loads quickly. I’m still pleased with it and am glad that I bought it.
