I would like this review to be helpful to the gals who are in a similar situation to mine. I am 60 years old and 5'3" tall and weigh 128. I usually wear an 8 petite in pants. If I wear a regular 8 I have to shorten the hem. I have thin legs but a bit of a poof belly. I am tired of buying expensive stretch jeans that have a waist that sits too low and causes not only muffin top and side bulge, but the pants constantly fall down. It seems like the stretchier the jean is, the more it falls down. I don't like wearing a belt because it adds extra bulk at the midsection, the very problem I am trying to avoid. So I have been searching for stretchy high rise jeans that will reach up to the belly button, so that they can pull in my belly a bit, avoid muffin top, and also not be falling down. I bought these Democracy jeggings because they advertise themselves to be high rise and have "Ab Solution" tummy panels. I bought them in sizes 6, 8 and 10 so I could compare the fit. They are true to size and the 8 fit. However, on all three sizes, the waist sat about 3 inches lower than the belly button. And I am short-waisted. I had been concerned that these might even be too high waisted when I ordered them. No way. They do have black stretch fabric panels in the front, but since these pants don't even reach up to cover the abs, I don't know how this can be an Ab Solution. These pants slip and start to fall down after walking about 10 steps. And if you put your hands in the front pockets they immediately slip down. The waist 3 inches below belly button caused side love handle bulges to protrude. If you have flat abs and like a rise that is medium-low and don't mind wearing a belt to keep your pants from falling off, these might be for you. But in that case you probably wouldn't need the Ab Solution panels and many other jeans on the market would also suit you. ... show more

Perfect for that mommy belly from bloating or Diastasis Recti Ran large - 5’3” 135 Lbs originally got a 6 then went to a 4, so sexy! I normally wear a size 12. I carry my weight in my hips, thighs and waist and have had two babies in 2 years. These are the best jeans I have ever worn. I ordered a size 10 based off of a friends reccomendation. They fit perfectly. I wore them all day and they kept their shape. They washed well with no fading. The high waist was perfect as it eliminated any chance for a muffin top. I can't shout it loud enough, "These are the best!". For reference, I am 5'5 and weigh 170. I love everything about these jeans. I love them so much I have them in every color. The do run a little small so I get a size smaller then normal. I’m normally a size 6/8 in jeans but I get a size 4. And I love the length I’m a short girl only 5ft tall and I can never find jeans that fit me perfectly I always have to roll my jeans up but the high rise jeans fit me perfectly. Oh and the waist band in the jeans are amazing so they never roll down. I have nothing bad to say about these jeans at all except for them being a bit pricey. ... show more

I bought these under prime wardrobe to try them out. I wear a size 16 in the boot cut and wanted to see if they were going to fit. I really liked them. I loved everything about the fit and style of these, except for the weird white line that was only on the side of one leg (see my picture). This was not shown in the product images for the color I ordered (blue). I am returning and considered reordering on the chance that maybe I just got a defective pair, but I'm not sure. I ordered these in an Amazon Wardrobe box. Which is an awesome way to try on jeans before purchasing. I am 5’3” 130 lbs and wear a size 27 or 28 depending on the brand. I tried these in a size 28 and found them to be too large all around. So large in fact that I’d assume the size 27 would have been to large also. I like my jeans to be fitted, with no gaping or knee creasing, and if you are like me then I’d order down a size. Possibly two sizes if you are in between sizes. Quality wise, they seemed good. The jeans are ok. I am 5.9 and the length was not as pictured, it was much more cropped than expected. I returned the item a while ago. I followed up multiple times and still have not received the promised refund.
