I bought this race car bed for my grandson to transition out of a toddler bed. He loves it! Beware that it does sit on the floor and does not have a bottom. Therefore, the mattress sits directly on the floor. This is not a problem for us as far as comfort, but it does make it more difficult to change the sheets. The other design “flaw” to keep in mind is that the top of the bed has a spoiler that prevents one from sitting up in bed and prevents you from using the entire length of the mattress. My son loves this bed. My only complaint is that the stickers are terrible quality and already peeling, and it's slightly too wide for the nectar twin mattress I have.

We needed a bed for our grandson. He is big time in to cars and trucks. This was a great for him. Easy to put together. I do not have to worry about him falling out of bed. Being 3 years old this was right for him. He just loves it.

Very cute bed and the little one LOVES it. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because it was missing a couple of the screw due to the bag busting open.

I like that the sides on this bed work to keep your toddler inside and no fear of rolling out. I think this bed will last a long time. What I’m not super fond of is that the front of the bed behind the headlights is a little on the sharp side. Granted my toddler will stay up in the middle most of the time, he sometimes jumps around the bed and I could see him hitting his chin or head on it and it would really hurt. You can’t baby proof every aspect I suppose. I do like to stuff some extra blankets in the spaces between the sides of the mattress and the sides of the bed as it gives extra padding while he is sleeping. Overall I’m very happy and he seems to love his bed. He’s 20 months and transitioned seamlessly into it from a crib. ... show more

We waited about 2.5 weeks for this to arrive and it was worth the wait! My son is HYPE about his new bed, and it was pretty easy to put together. I’m 7 months pregnant and managed to do most of it by myself, until I asked for my husband to put the sides on... waaa laaa! Didn’t require many screws and only a screw driver. If you want a guaranteed workout, this bed delivers. Holes are not predrilled for the tires, so it takes some finagling to get the stinkin screws on. There are approximately 40 billion stickers, none of them are labeled, they’re on different sheets and not organizing in any particular way, and if you mess up one, you will decide whether you want to destroy the sticker or call the incorrect placement “performance art”. Just a note that this really only goes around a mattress and there isn’t a support. It’s perfect for the little racers who can’t be trusted in a bed that leaves the ground, but could be a surprise if someone was expecting an actual bed frame. I came prepared with a full toolbox and it took me about an hour and a half to put this together alone. The vast majority of that time was putting the stickers on the pieces. I found the organization of the stickers incredibly annoying and setting up the user to make several mistakes. Mistakes aside, my son absolutely loves the bed. It’s not super sturdy but since the mattress is on the ground anyway, it’s not like that matters. I put bumper pads in between the mattress and the frame to prevent my wild sleeper from bonking himself on the uncomfortable plastic sides and would definitely recommend others do the same. My husband put it together so I can't say if it was easy or not. I think it took him the longest putting on the stickers! We put a 6 inch twin size mattress in here and will not be using a box spring until our son is a bit older. It's perfect right now because he can't roll out of the bed and hurt himself. I think this car bed is so cool and our toddler LOVES it too. It's sturdy and well made. My kids were jumping off the spoiler and onto the mattress the other day like it was nothing!
