Once it’s all together, it’s solid and beautiful. The pad that comes with it is rather thin and basic, but it looks like it would work just fine. We opted to buy a much thicker pad with sides that basically “cradle” the baby. Just personal preference. Pretty easy assembly, feels safe sturdy. Worth the money considering it’s cuter than others but still practical/functional with the storage underneath! Pretty nice and solid. So far it has been great! My only complaint was it came in smelling like they just painted it and threw it in the box. It stunk my whole house.
