Let's just be real - this is a plastic "car" bed. It is way more expensive than I wish I would have to pay for it, but I suppose my kid's excitement to have a "car" bed has no price. Now, let's get into the details: -It's wobbly. There are no screws holding the sides, they just slide into slots, so if you move the bed the sides may come apart. No big deal, just slide them back. -Believe the reviews, the stickers are a pain the #%$ to apply and (due to some of the surface not being flat) they will eventually lift and bubble no matter how careful you are with your application (and trust me, I know how to apply stickers!) Your kid will probably end up picking the stickers at some point. If you are a perfectionist like me, the sloppy looking bubbling stickers will drive you crazy. -You will need a twin sized box spring. Otherwise, the mattress will lay on the floor and your kid will have to climb in and out of the bed, kinda like a playpen with a mattress inside. Dumb. I had read many reviews and thought I was prepared but I was not! The decals are a nightmare!! I strongly recommend putting modge podge on them as soon as they are applied otherwise they will lift and bubble no matter how perfectly they are applied. Some plastic pieces were bent from lying against each other in the box and made fitting them together extremely difficult. It’s not difficult to put together, just frustrating and need 2 sets of hands for sure. There is no bottom so the box spring and mattress just sit on the floor inside the bed frame. If my 4 year old grandson had not been so excited and love it so much, I would have returned it. At this price point I would expect the decals to already be applied and the design for them to stay in place be much better ... show more

Box says "with lights" and of course, no lights. Just stickers. Came with the two main parts to connect the bed together already broken and even though they send one spare, still left us with a broken piece. Some of the stickers I had to cut out with scissors because they weren't properly cut and were still attached to the main sheet. The stickers themselves were already bubbling and peeling off after 3 hours. My husband was furious just trying to set it up because none of it was aligning and we were already fed up with the poor quality. Unfortunately, since we were saving it for Christmas we past the return window. I warn anyone who is considering this product to NOT BUY IT. We have to use our own screws, plastic glue, and paint adhesive onto the stickers just to get this thing into a semblance of a functional bed like they advertise it to be. All to just have the mattress rest on the floor. Not worth the trouble. ... show more

So I give it a 4 star because the stickers does Peal off without you touching it. I read in the reviews it does that so I decided not to put all the stickers. And the bed frame quite a bit bigger than mattress. I can stick my foot on the side or top or bottom of car frame. Overall as long as my son loves it Im happy. ... show more

    • Easy enough to put together but time consuming, not really a bed and peices missing

It wasn't difficult to put together, but it's time consuming. The peices are shoved together (not screwed in, no nice little pop either to indicate a correct fit) and they aren't really sturdy. The bed sits on the floor (on a box spring if you have one) there is no frame. The instructions seem to indicate that there are lights on the front -- no LIGHTS came in the box and there's no hole in the plastic to install lights!? Unless they press on (which is kind of rediculous for a kid) this seems like false advertisement. In my humble opinion, it's not worth the pricetag. The decals are not form fitted to the plastic so they will bubble no matter how well you place them. Also the stickers themselves are not labelled so labelling them on the instructions was a mute point -- kind of stupid. The finished product is not terrible so don't get me wrong -- it's still cool. Just not our favorite purchase. I expected better based on the description. How it is advertised as 'easily converts' from toddler to twin is just a blatent lie. ... show more

We bought this for our sons 2nd birthday upgrading him from the crib he was jumping out of to a twin big-boy bed (I would definitely recommend skipping the toddler option for this frame, it’s already too expensive). We bought a 10 in mattress separately which fits perfect and gives him a little bumber you can see in the pics. Set-up took quite a while because we had to place all the stickers on and there are no labels on the stickers which made it more difficult. Because of the curves in the frame, it’s hard to place the stickers without getting some kind of fold or unevenness which is annoying if you’re a perfectionist like me. My son already ripped part of the sticker off because it was sticking up at one curve. Other than the stickers, set up was pretty simple and easy. And at the end of the day, it looks great! I just wish it came painted on already. -And that’s the reason I feel it should be cheaper price because for the price that you pay, I SHOULD come painted on already! ... show more

Bought in November 2016 on Amazon. It is May 2017 and I finally put stickers on :) They tell you to do it right away before you put bed together but I didn't have time and it didn't matter. It looks great. It took me around 3 hours to put all stickers on. The most important thing is to use mod podge (matte finish) over each sticker! Let it dry for 1 h and apply it again. It looks white when you do it but it is transparent when dry. People who complained about stickers probably did not use mod podge. Bed is sturdy. Plastic is ok quality. My son has been using it since November and everything is fine. Also, I noticed that people complained about the gap between the bed and mattress (3 inches or so). You absolutely need it. How would you change bed sheets if it was all fitting tight??? I have small blanket in the gap and it is all good. Great bed for our 4 years old. ... show more
