It does leave hair behind but if this is just a quick sweep up, it’s great if I had had this when my kids were little, I would’ve handed it to them and have them clean up the couch and chairs and then I would’ve followed behind them with a vacuum. I would’ve use this as a training tool on how to take care of your pet, everything the good the bad all of it . feeding walking scooping. This works exactly as shown and does a fantastic job! My only issue with it is the curve of the handle. It's a comfortable grasp but the button that empty the hair is right where my hand sits and the button is sensitive. I honestly love this item it was built very well and the producers understand how to control the hair up inside the roller. I already won my mom with it and aw my friends, but best of all, my fiances allergies are under control!

Absolutely wonderful for furniture not as great with clothing. Works wonders where our pets lay around just a little awkward with clothing, while wearing anyway, Maybe because it is so big? All in all a great product!! Would recommend to animal lovers!!

Simply put, it works! I was really skeptical, but it works. I have a little constantly-shedding Pomeranian mix. I used this on his bed and in a few swipes, it was completely clean! I will say this doesn't work very well on clothing you are wearing. The back and forth motion needed is difficult and uncomfortable. But for furniture...wow. It works.

I bought this for our furniture and it removes the hair quick and easy from leather. So I tried it in our clothes, as long as it tighter fabric like jeans or tight stretch pants, it works amazing. Not so much on looser clothes like a sweater or linen pants.
