A little smaller than I expected but it works. The temp gauge would jump up when inserted when water had just got to temp. I cooked ground beef 2 1/2 hrs with the water around 190 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Meat was well done and sliced well to make sandwiches.

This is a pretty nice press. Prob the only issue is cleaning the round press part itself. It has some rivets in it that collect the food, and took a bit to clean out. Overall it's a good product if you want to do lunchmeats at home. I have Alpha Gal syndrome, so am reluctant to buy store bought chicken/turkey lunchmeat, so this is a good alternative. ... show more

Decided to order after I'd seen an Influencer making homemade lunch meat. I made my own chicken,which turned out great. This included several recipes. Very easy to use, clean up was a breeze. Stainless steel and thermometer to ensure meat was cooked to temp.

The meat thermometer doesn’t work even brand new. The device seems like a good build, but the thermometer is very important.

We ended up getting extra turkeys and ham around the holiday - then decided to make our own lunch meat. Next time we use, we will need to use recipes. Texture turned out great! Seasoning, less than desirable.
