Purchased this tool for making up a new set of plug wires for a Ford flathead motor. The insulation cutter removes the insulation without nicking the core conductor, and the crimp is consistent and strong. As other reviewers have already mentioned, a better, more easy to use release would be appreciated. I suggest making some practice crimps on your extra wire and connectors first to get familiar with this tool, especially the release. Over-all this tool performs well for the price. ... show more

I have been making spark plug wires for years and wow these are unbelievable! The strip the wire perfect and crimp the terminal on just like factory. You cannot get a better tool for this job. I wish they had this thirty years ago. Only like no dislikes at all.
