Purchased this tool for making up a new set of plug wires for a Ford flathead motor. The insulation cutter removes the insulation without nicking the core conductor, and the crimp is consistent and strong. As other reviewers have already mentioned, a better, more easy to use release would be appreciated. I suggest making some practice crimps on your extra wire and connectors first to get familiar with this tool, especially the release. Over-all this tool performs well for the price. ... show more
