The "DEKOPRO 94 Piece Tool Set Household DIY Tool Kit for Men with Storage Toolbox" is both a sexist (as why for men?) and exaggerated description for this product. It is exaggerated because 70 of the 94 pieces are nails, screws and drywall anchors. Of the remaining 24 pieces, one is a useful/small 2M tape measure, four are socket heads, five are Allen wrenches, one is a utility knife and ten are a combination of screw and driver tips. The remaining tools consist of pliers/wire cutter, the 7" 5.5 ounce hammer and the non-ratcheting driver for the screw and driver tips. The limitations with this tool kit are: the lightweight 5.5-ounce hammer, which is adequate for small picture-hanging tasks but undersized for general household repairs, non-ratcheting driver (because ratcheting is so much more useful) for the screw tips and the limited number of aforementioned tips and socket heads. While this kit may be suitable for office or dormitory, there are better equipped kits available on Amazon for just a few dollars more. If you are looking for a minimalist toolkit for someone who only occasionally needs basic tools and are on a tight budget, the DEKOPRO 94 is worth comparing to other available toolkits.

I originally picked up this toolkit to keep in a car that didn't have one, but after seeing it in person, I think it’s much more appropriate for a dorm room or a small apartment. It’d be fine for lightweight tasks - think hanging pictures, changing switch covers, or assembling a small piece of furniture. While it’s fine for those minor jobs, I’ll likely send this off to college with my graduating senior and look for something more substantial for the car. At $14.99, it’s an OK value, though it feels like the kind of set that would be a "must-buy" if it were closer to the $9.99 mark. The tools are functional for what they are, but they aren't meant for heavy-duty repair work. If you just need a compact, organized set for the basic "around the house" fixes, this fits the bill perfectly. Verdict: A good "starter" kit for students or an apartment dweller

I ordered this small tool set as a future gift for my niece. She is in college and has her first apartment. I thought that having a tool set would be a good item for her to have around. It is also a practical gift. She really doesn't need anymore fun gifts. Grandma does enough of those. This is a nice beginner tool kit. Great for college students and first-time homeowners. It is a nice place to start. It keeps everything together in a small case. First-time homeowners will, of course, slowly grow their tools as they live in their house longer, but this gets them started. The plastic case is durable. I wish that it had a handle for easy carrying, but not a deal-breaker. I like that it has a small hammer. It functions as a hammer. Honestly, for most homeowners a small hammer is all that is really needed when you are hanging pictures and fixing nail pops. If you aren't going to do any drywalling and building, you are fine with a hammer of this size. The measuring tape is also nice. It pulls out and slides back in easy enough. For most this will also be fine, though I like my big measuring tape. It is more durable and holds itself in place easier than small cheap ones like this. I still own my first small measuring tape though. It works well for hanging pictures and basic measuring around the house. The screwdriver with attachments works well enough. I have one like this in a set that the builder gave us as a closing gift when we got our new home. There are better screw driver sets out there. I would recommend upgrading this first out of everything in this set. I prefer a basic screw driver to these multi-head sets. The heads always come out at inopportune times. The tips will wear away over time because they are made with softer metals. A good sturdy flat head screwdriver and phillips head screwdriver are essential to any home. These are good for starters, but I wouldn't use them as my only option. The box knife works well. It slid in and out easily. I had a store-bough knife like this that I used for years. It won't replace a utility knife, but it will suffice when opening Amazon packages. The set of Allen's wrenches is nice, but most purchases come with inexpensive Allen's wrenches, so not a big deal. I hardly use my own set of Allen's wrenches--instead I opt to use the ones included with the screws and instructions. It has screws and plastic wall anchors. The screws are fine, but I would toss the cheap wall anchors. They are more trouble than they are worth. I prefer the screw wall anchors or simply putting as many things into studs as possible. I have tons of these around the house that have come with various DIY kits. These are no different than those. I wish that it had regular needle nose plyers. The set came with bigger plyers, which are sturdy and well-made, but I find constant use around the house for needle nose plyers, and I hardly ever use the bigger plyers that I have. Not a deal-breaker, but I would recommend that anyone who buys this set also invest in a needle nose plyers. Everything here is well-made for the value level. A great gift item for a young person. Recommended.
