I always envied the tiny little screw gun my brother has in his car for helping friends with stuff. It's a little one like this one, he got it at a pawn shop. Anyhow I decided to get my own and this has been a great addition to my tools. And pink! Lightweight, easy to use, plenty of power but don't expect to install drywall with it all day, you know? I have been making necklaces for several years. Holes in wooden beads are often 2 mm, and I need to enlarge the holes to 4mm in order to fit on the necklace. I WAS using a Ryobi drill, but it had more power than I needed, and it was heavy in my hand. I started to get an inflamed wrist from the weight and the repetitive motion. I read the reviews for this drill, and I am very glad that I purchased. This drill is great for increasing the holes in wooden beads. The drill is lightweight, and the power is just enough to drill the hole without being dangerous. As many of the reviews said, I DID have to jimmy the plug into the handle for recharging. After reading the reviews about how difficult it can be to get the plug in and out, I decided to just leave the plug in all the time, and just let it dangle. The USB end is easy to plug into my charger. This drill is the perfect size, speed, power, and weight for my crafting needs, and it would probably be great to small around the house jobs. Have been using this drill every day for 2 months, and no problems. I have previously replaced slats on my fence in the backyard, and my guess is that is drill would NOT have the power to do that. But, for a lightweight drill that won't put Grandma in the hospital, this is the tool for the job. ... show more

I bought this for my sons toolbox. I have a compact Makita drill for comparison. Novices should note that this drill does not have a brake mechanism that keeps the chuck from spinning while you are tightening it. That makes it harder to put in bits. You have to hold the small ring at the base of the chuck to keep it from rotating while to tighten the top. Other than that it's fine so far. Seems decent for light duty use. We drilled a few 1/4in holes in a 2x4 no problem. TLDR; If you need a cheap compact drill for light duty use this seems fine. However if you can afford to spend more, there are drills that are simply better in every way than this one. ... show more

i bought this almost impulsively bc i was getting annoyed with always needing to borrow a drill from my dad. I never thought i needed my own until i got this! really love that its small and lightweight and i could pack everything up in the small box and just put it in the back of my shelf without making a mess. absolutely HATE the fact that this tool is unnecessarily gendered with the only blue or pink color options. both of these shades suck, but i got the blue idk about the battery life yet, bc I've only had it for like 2 months, but i did not need to charge before using it the first time ... show more
