Do you want a light that is legitimately a little odd? This lamp is pretty cool because it casts a soft glow and is, somewhat befuddlingly at first sight, controlled by a single scroll wheel. Definitely a nice thing to add a little ambience in a room. Once you get the hang of the wheel it is actually pretty soothing to play with. I know it's just a light but I'm really obsessed with it. I've already ordered another for another room and am going to order one for my 2 year old nephew because I know he'll love it too. It's just such a fun light, it has multiple color settings with really nice colors not just the standard blue, red, green, yellow that some lights like this offer. It also have two multi color options where the colors move around. You have the ability to adjust the brightness by turning the dial on the back that also works as a button you push to turn it on/off or switch colors. You can stand it up or lay it flat on it's back, both options give off a good light. It is powered by a plug in cord so you don't have to worry about batteries. Overall, I love it and would definitely recommend if you're looking for a soft light for you room with cool color options. ... show more

It's a very pleasing accent lamp with a zillion modes and colors, the cord is even a reasonable length, about 4 feet, and includes a brick to adapt the USB-A plug to a wall outlet. The downside is that it's got one button, well a button/wheel. Even with the direction sheet it's very hard to know where you are in the 11 mode cycle, and then each mode has an alternate, or many alternate modes on top of that...plus the sunset/sunrise modes you get to through even more complex button press sequences. At least the wheel for brightness works fine and it remembers where you are so once you find something you like there is no more dealing with the labyrinth mode navigation. Battery operation would be nice, so would a display on the back to indicate what mode you're in but maybe the next version. ... show more

This light is very calming and beautiful. This light is also very bright and wound up lighting a big area of my room. I love that this orb has a lot of light different lighting modes. You can have it set to one color, or you can have a rainbow type of transition from one color to another. You can also adjust the brightness of the orb. This is a perfect night light and it works wonderfully for creating a nice ambiance in any dark setting. It is also easy to plug in on the back. You can stand the orb up at at angle or you can lay it flat down, both ways you are still able to have it plugged in. The button on the back is very easy to use and the orb comes with an instruction packet that tells you how to change the different lighting modes. My only big desire is that I wish it had a remote, however the product itself is easy to use and functions quite nicely regardless. I recommend this as a bed side night light. ... show more

I have one of these on one nightstand already so I wanted to get a second to match. It's my most favorite RGB lamp and I use it every day. It diffuses blended colors beautifully together and looks stunning. The lamp is a disc shape, giving the impression of a perfectly round object when viewed directly straight at it, when really it is actually somewhat flat (so no it's not a full round circle). The functions are controlled by a single button located at the back, which powers the lamp on/off, adjusts the brightness, and cycles through the light scenes. The lamp is not wireless/rechargeable so it must be plugged in with power to use. It says it's targeted to children and babies but I'm using it for my gaming setup because it provides the gamer vibe lighting ambiance. This thing is so much cuter than the pictures make it out to be. I was a little miffed when I realized it wasn't ball shaped, but when I turned it on and saw the light for the first time, I just about died from cuteness overload! I love it! It's so amazingly cute! I love the colors. This is not just for kids, this is so mesmerizing that it has to be mine and in my room, haha. This is by far one of the best lamps I've gotten. It's a night light lamp, so it's not going to light up the whole room, but you know that already when getting it. It's super duper cute! The power is a usb on one end, but it comes with the brick.     • I wish I saw that this had NO app control prior to getting it
Against my better judgement I decided to give this another try. I had gone through two of these lights earlier this year and both had the same thing wrong with them (those lights had app control, and a particular feature/color didn't work). Now this light, without app control - or any remote control for that matter can't be put up high somewhere out of reach because the only control you have is a dial on the back of the light itself.
