I haven’t bought a remote controlled anything for years and years, but recently had a baby boy and thought it could be a cool thing to have him crawl after. It’s a great little rig that looks cool, has lights, and is pretty durable. We only use it inside, but so far it hold up well after being crashed into furniture over and over. Bought a few of these as a first RC car experience for my kids. It handles well on carpet, but it is almost too fast for indoor use. Driving outside it will handle just about anything - steep driveways, dirt, gravel and short trips in the grass. The controller is pretty basic, but that's all my kids need. This is lots of fun to run around but does best on smooth surfaces. Does come with 2 batteries which is great cause you don't want to have to stop to recharge when you are having so much fun!
