Ordered this product for my son. It was well reviewed so went with it. Shipped fast as always from Amazon. Boat looks awesome, and came with 2 batteries that are swappable by hand so you can easily change them out by the water. Lights up and looks very awesome. The remote is pretty great and can gives you an indicator of signal strength so that you don't drive out of range. It also has a battery indicator so you don't run out of power. I had an issue with it though upon arrival, and it wouldn't really go forward with any speed. I could clearly tell something was wrong, because it was nothing like the videos others had. I was outside the Amazon return window by the time I had gotten to a lake to test out the boat. I contacted DEERC support and they are sending me one right away. Super helpful and easy. This was a birthday gift for my 13 year old grandson. It was easy for him to learn the remote, install the batteries and charge the batteries. He played with it in a lake off and on for hours. The batteries last about 15 minutes, it comes with two. They charge pretty fast. The boat goes fast, but will flip if going into a wave. Had to rescue with a kayak more than once. We were unable to flip it using the remote. Make sure to take the boat apart and dry inside after use. Water does get in. Over all he loves it. Money well spent. Shipped fast, well packaged. Read the directions for sure. Thank goodness my son in law is handy that way, but super fast and fun. Too fast to use around swimmers. Flip easily in waves, still worth it to me. My grandson loves it.

I wanted an RC boat for my kids to play with in our pond. The H121 fit the bill. This model comes with everything you need, just add a few AA batteries to the remote and your off to the races. Includes two batteries for the boat that lasted what seemed like forever. With other RC boats I have had I always had water inside. After using 2 full batteries I had zero water inside this one. 20mph may not seem fast but let me tell you on the water it seems way faster than on land. The LEDs on the front give it a nice custom touch and do not seem to impact battery life at all. It even has a cooling coil that funnels water around the motor to ensure long life and no overheating. One of my favorite features is reverse! I hate getting a leaf or stick stuck in the rudder and having to drive it back to shore. With reverse just give it some throttle to clear the debris and bam your back to the races. Awesome little RC Boat. ... show more

Bought this for my 10yr old son and my husband. That lil boat is FAST!! First tried it on a small pond and it was shockingly fast. Im not sure what I was expecting but wow. Personally I feel for $57 which is what we paid for it, it was worth it. Our boat is still working fine and we took it to a large lake by us and it didnt disappoint there either. It continues to work and we are already planning the next rip out. My son has had the best time with this boat (hubby too). They played a good 40+ minutes on 2 batteries. If there was any complaint it would be that it needs longer battery life but hey, we are certainly pleased with it at 40 mins. Makes good memories and thats what counts for us!! Very nice RC boat, easy to learn and easy to use The battery life is as described, the boat goes very fast, turns well, and keeps water out. Kelp tends to get caught up in the rudder due to its shape but the boat has enough power to keep going even when caught in kelp. The boat can flip back upright if needed but never flipped even in large waves at high speeds in my testing. The remote control shows some nice stats like throttle and battery. Even a complete beginner like me was able to figure it out in no time. Definitely worth the money! ... show more
