The media could not be loaded. This boat is super fast and so much fun. In the video the boat is on low speed. We live in Michigan and we played with this on December 30th, so the water is really cold, and the boat ran perfectly. After playing with it, I was happily surprised the inside of the battery compartment was completely dry. The boat did dives and flips and always rolled itself over. My 8 year old is so excited to play with this this coming summer. You need to be careful of rocks though. He broke a fin already when he was trying to bring it ashore. I bought this for my 11 & 13 year old nephews and they absolutely loved them. These things are SUPER fast. They ran them for about 30 minutes in a calm lake, and they never tipped over. The remote control actually beeps when the boat battery needs charging. That is a great feature to have. No one wants to paddle out to get a “dead” boat from the middle of a lake or pond in the middle of winter. My only advice is to buy a spare battery, so they can play with them longer. ... show more

Despite all of the hype you seen, I have GPS this boat with two different GPS units and the top speed is only 16 miles an hour with the included lithium ion battery. I do believe you can get 21 mph with an actual 3S Lipo. I will test that out. The plus side of these boats are that they’re so darn durable because they’re so light. I had a collision with my UDIRC arrow 005 and this little guy survived the crash while the Rutter on my arrow flipped over my propeller somehow. I had to use. The Deerc Boat to bring back the more expensive boat. These little guys are fun bashers. I have submarine to mine many times, and his come back after being submerged for a few seconds. These are fun to run with a few people that have the same boat. It’s a blast when ran with other friends racing together. Eventually, I plan on replacing the ESC with a 40 amp and seeing what she can do on 4s. It’s a lot of fun for the money and you can literally run it anywhere. Even a decent size water fountain is fun with this little guy, yet he can handle big waves, created by actual boats. It just will not sync and always stays upright.. Remote would not power on at all. Mfr/retailer wants to send a part from China, which takes a month. Had to do an Amazon return instead because the parts won't arrive before the return window closes. Got stuck in a loop getting the return processed. Took a few chats before it was settled. I was hoping for a simple replacement but apparently there are no non-defective examples available anymore, so I had to settle for a refund. Needless to say, my son was not impressed with the DOA boat as a Christmas present. He was less impressed once we shipped it back and he was empty handed. We are now shopping for an alternative brand. If you are considering a boat like this, I would suggest testing it immediately upon receipt. Many will be waiting for summer to arrive before trying it out. That may bring an unpleasant surprise and you will have no easy recourse when a few months have passed. ... show more

I recently searched "RC Boats" on Amazon and this model caught my eye due to 30mph speeds and the anti-capsize technology. The 1st test run was incredible.. Super fun and speedy! It has plenty battery life with a beeping indicator once battery gets low. Another cool feature is the operating range of 120 Meters (393 Feet). To put in perspective, football fields are 120 Yards in total length which converts to 360 Feet. As fun as the 1st run was, I was anxious to run it again and again. Not too long into the 2nd run, I experienced a pairing issue where the boat stopped communicating with the remote controller. After much troubleshooting, I decided to call customer service. The rep I dealt with was exceptional and to my surprise, the seller is replacing my boat free of charge (new replacement boat is shipping within 1 day of calling). Truly looking forward to the next time I can let this thing loose on the water! ... show more
