Excellent car great for bashing. Takes a beating and keeps on going. I got a more expensive car after this one for a family member and that newer car with a great reputation burned out is esc in two days, fixed it then and arm popped out a day after getting it fixed, total disaster while this car keeps going. recently took it apart to upgrade parts and saw bend rods but amazingly it keeps going. Things i dont like. The main drive shaft is not all metal like illustrated in the picture. steering is bad, has always been even when knew. can't steer correctly at high speeds. DEERC doesn't provide schematics for their vehicles which would help with upgrades. This doesn't seem to be a vehicle that's position for simple upgrades, not for novice at least. All youtube instructions for upgrades are for other DEERC cars not this 209e version. The honey comb chasis makes it difficult to at parts, for us novice. Great car if you dont plan on upgrading. Could use a better controller that allows for better adjustments to steering.

While the battery life it self was ok the batteries did t last at all! It was fast but too fast for all the plastic on plastic contact. The wheels wobble waaay too much because theres not even bearings. It's not a good value andwhile it was fun, there's much better quality for the same price

It’s super fast right out of the box! It’s kinda hard to control the steering left or right it’s super jerky I find myself twitching left and right all the time, even after adjusting the steering trim! It’s not a true 1/10 scale as a lot of cars sold on Amazon aren’t, it’s really a 1/12 scale! I find when I drive it, it flips over quite a lot. It won’t self flip over often not the biggest deal but worth noting! Also another gripe I have is the batteries are not rectangular they are a triangle shape therefore making it super hard to latch it in the battery compartment! I give it 3-4 star rating! It’s not terrible, it’s very fast! Just wish it was easier to control! I did break an axle about 5 minutes in to using the car, reached out to Amazon and the company and they sent me a set of replacement parts free of charge which was very cool of them!
