Batteries last a good long time. Upgrade is in the future Its plenty fast and ridiculously tough. After quite a few incidents there is no outwardly apparent damage and the car keeps going.

    • Doesn't even have bearings and impossible to upgrade
While the battery life it self was ok the batteries did t last at all! It was fast but too fast for all the plastic on plastic contact. The wheels wobble waaay too much because theres not even bearings. It's not a good value andwhile it was fun, there's much better quality for the same price

It’s super fast right out of the box! It’s kinda hard to control the steering left or right it’s super jerky I find myself twitching left and right all the time, even after adjusting the steering trim! It’s not a true 1/10 scale as a lot of cars sold on Amazon aren’t, it’s really a 1/12 scale! I find when I drive it, it flips over quite a lot. It won’t self flip over often not the biggest deal but worth noting! Also another gripe I have is the batteries are not rectangular they are a triangle shape therefore making it super hard to latch it in the battery compartment! I give it 3-4 star rating! It’s not terrible, it’s very fast! Just wish it was easier to control! I did break an axle about 5 minutes in to using the car, reached out to Amazon and the company and they sent me a set of replacement parts free of charge which was very cool of them! ... show more

    • Seems Great So Far.
I purchased it on sale, bit although I'm pretty new to RC as an old guy, this is a good deal regardless. I started building Tamiya RC car kits recently, because I like building them, but to upgrade their ESC and motor to 3S brushless can cost as much as this whole vehicle. As far as waterproof.....I ran it in my yard with light snow and it completely bogged down, but still ran. Recorded 19mph in snow in my yard, so definitely quick. If it doesn't turn back on I'll update, but it's impressive it still ran and returned to me. ... show more
