Made from simulated leather and nylon, with a soft padded collar, fabric lining and contrasting loop eyelets. The lightweight grippy TPR outsole provides traction.

Perfect for my 7-year old son on our trip to Nevada/Utah (size 2.5 - up a half size from his current size 2 for room to grow). We did some hiking (a little bit of snow included at times), climbing big rocks, and splashing in a small creek. These did the job without question. My son wore this for a 3 days camp/field trip and said his feet were very comfortable. He did a hike and some parts were slippery, but the grip on these boots helped him navigate some steeper areas with ease. He's a tennis shoe type of kid and likes his shoes to be lightweight. He didn't complain about these at all. He wore taller socks so had no issues with the shoe rubbing his ankles or legs. It is true to size. My kid says they are very comfortable. We purchased other brands and returned, as they were not as wide as these boots. Kept those and we are happy with them. They definitely kept the water out during rain and when stepping in streams during hikes. Good product.

Top boot hook breaks very easily. We went on our last camping trip and planned a hike. The hook broke on the second day. My son loves the boots, they are a great fit and otherwise seem to be made well. He still used the boot as those were his only shoes but he is very sad that they are broken already. It did not rain so I cannot say if they are waterproof. My son said they were good and warm. ... show more
