This blade performs extremely well, and fits perfectly in my cricut explore air 2. The blade housing is plastic, but looks exactly like my metal cricut blade housing. I use this for bonded fabric and it cut through very nicely. It’s also pink which is a plus.

You'll notice an immediate difference with this blade versus the official Cricut one - namely the housing is light plastic and not the heavier, official metal one. I don't think it makes much of a difference because at the end of the day, it's all about the sharpness and durability of the blade. For cutting paper, cardstock and plastic, this blade performed exactly as I'd expect. I'm not sure how it would last as far as longevity goes... but it got me through the holidays. ... show more

    • Awesome blades…perfect for light plastic
I bought these to make a reusable plastic stencil. My regular fine point blade wasnt working, so I bought these and it worked perfect. I have a cricut explore air 2, and I was cutting on the dollar tree cutting mats to make my stencil. Worked great!
