This tree was entirely an impulse purchase after coming across a video of one on Facebook. I was just about to set up my Christmas tree that afternoon and was already dreading the entire process: taking the tree out of storage, setting it up, fluffing out the limbs (always leaving me with cuts and scratches on my hands), stringing the lights then the garland, then finally the fun part - adding ornaments (And that's not sarcasm - hanging the ornaments is my favorite part. It's a shame it takes so long to get there). While I wasn't a fan of the price ($135 when I bought it), I figured "why not" and ordered the tree, which pushed my Christmas decorating back by 2 days. But I was thrilled when it arrived! It honestly took less than 5 minutes to set up. I added a photo that shows what the tree looks like lit up at night with nothing added (the photo with all the presents). The other photo is after I added a string of color lights and hung some ornaments after giving away the presents gave me some space to work with around the tree. All in all, I love this tree! I do feel that the price is rather high for what you get. But the fact that I saved so much time (while also saving my fingers from tiny little cuts) still made this purchase completely worth it for me. And take-down will be a breeze that I won't have to dread this time. ... show more

UPDATE: I went to take the tree down and it tipped over and the plastic stand broke. I would suggest purchasing a separate metal one if you think you might have issues with the one that came with the tree. INITIAL REVIEW: I had my mind made up that no tree was going up this year. I’ve gotten tired of being the only person dragging my heavy tree from the basement and worse…the only one taking all of the crap down when the holidays are over. This tree actually put me in a good mood this year. Ridiculously easy to set up and you can tell the design was well thought out. I think the price is a bit steep. I’d honestly like to have seen this priced more in the range of 75 dollars but the convenience is worth the rest of the money paid for it. ... show more

    • Hard for a shorter person to erect.
Trying to assemble as shown is doable but for a shorter person a work around had to be found. Here it is. Hold the folded-up tree in one hand or lay on floor then put first section od "tree trunk" in top connector. Insert that rod/ tree trunk into the base portion and slowly let the tree drop down. Worked great for me. Secondly the balls that co0me with it should gradually go from that size to a smaller size for near the top of the tree. And last, the very top really needs to have a STRUDY support so an angle or star can be put on it without it bending over with a little weight. I had to attach a wooden dowel to the top so it could hold my star up. ... show more

Tree is pretty. Full enough out of the box that no “fluffing” needed and was not see through to the pole. Goes to the floor so no tree skirt needed. Ornaments were a bit odd to figure how to attach and also be able to remove so we skipped them. So many flowers and ribbons we felt the ball ornaments would be too much anyway. Very pretty,easy to store in its box after use and easy to set up. Just put the pole pieces together, hang the tree center on the top of the pole and let it hang down. Reverse to disassemble. This past year I adopted two kittens. They are growing huge but are still playful beasts. They can be very destructive, so I was going to forego having a tree this year. Not having a tree made sad. I ordered this tree, thinking, if they tore it up, I wouldn't be out much money or work. This tree was very nice! It was pretty with lights, flowers and ribbons attached. Although it came with plain red unbreakable ornaments I added my own shatterproof red and gold ornaments for variety. The tree was far better than I expected. And it could not have been easier to set up! The kittens knocked it over once and pulled it off its support pole one other time. The tree was back up in seconds and looked none the worse for wear. I am thinking of buying a couple to give as gifts next year. Great for elderly, lazy, and those who just can't be bothered. ... show more

There was a lot going on this year so I had no time or energy to drag in my beautiful, very full 9 ft tree and go crazy decorating it as I normally would. Enter the pop up tree. I’d never heard of one before. It’s a great novelty, so the kids could decorate it any way they liked. It was literally up and sparkling within 3 minutes or less. Yep - that easy! Wish I’d bought one for my 95 yr old parents. It’ll fit in any tight space and brighten up any room. And when we were done for the year - it was down as fast as it went up and slid right back into the box, baubles and all! I’ll use it again - maybe not as the main tree - but I will definitely have a corner for it in the future. Front porch or a bedroom maybe? ... show more

The tree served it's purpose. I didn't feel like putting up my artificial tree last year so I bought this tree. I think the tree should have been sold for less than $100. This tree was easy to put up. It included red bulbs. I think red and gold bulbs should have been included with hooks. I had a little trouble attaching the bulbs to the tree. I wouldn't use this tree again. I will probably sell this tree for $75 this year on Mercari. ... show more

I loathe setting up and taking down the Christmas tree. I have avoided having a tree since my kids left home (5years now). My husbands aunt had a tree like this 25 years ago and I have never forgotten about it, I finally took the leap and ordered one just in time for Christmas set up. It arrived at 9:00 pm on Christmas Eve Eve, it was set up by 9:05 pm. I have finally found my forever tree!!!! I did not add the ornaments that were included, but you could even add your own ornaments if you wanted. It is absolutely perfect for the Scrooge in me.
