At this point, I feel as if I am pretty much an expert on garden fences given my 3-acre property and many gardens and need for quite a few fences of varying kinds. This fence is for gardens where a shorter border is wanted/needed so, for example, the taller plants and flowers behind it can hang over the top a bit, and not have the view obstructed. This fence also has relatively narrow openings so, for example, if you trying to keep bunnies out, this fence will work well. It is also my favorite, much preferred installation-type, where you get fence-sections and posts that you slide into eyelets to connect the sections. This make installation really easy. And I also find the posts make the fence overall quite stable, and not prone to tipping over. If you have large dogs who don't see the fence as an effective reminder to stay out of the garden, this fence will likely not be tall enough to serve as an effective deterrent. But my dogs will stay out of a garden if there is something that blocks there path from simply strolling in, thus, the height works fine for me in this way. The wire is well-coated and a respectable black. The wire is not on the thin-side, but it is not as thick as other fences I have. This can be a good thing if you don't want the fence to stand out as much. The design is also on the neutral/basic side, another good thing if you don't want the fence to distract from the flowers and plants behind it. All in all, I was completely satisfied with this product and would order it again when I had a need for this type of fence. Definitely recommended.

This set of little fences is great - so easy to install, so easy to remove, no remnants. I suppose it wouldn’t be at all useful for fencing an area to avoid humans or cattle or horses and such, but these do the job I wanted, which was to decrease the foot traffic on a patch of lawn that has a lot of people stepping on to cut a corner. After a few weeks, the grass is notably healthier, and there has been no fading or shedding of any paint.

I have a couple of very large dahlias that want to fall over, not to mention the lilies whose stalks don't seem to be supporting the blooms. I've tried the half-round peony supports, but they just aren't heavy enough. Instead, I've started to use a couple of sections of this garden fencing and it has been a great success! It is tall enough to support the plants, simple to install and is strong enough to withstand the weight of the plants on it, where the peony supports were not. I also really like the looks of this fencing - nice and tidy. The powder coating, so far as I've observed, is thorough, so any rain/sprinkling shouldn't initiate rusting. I plan to use this fencing next spring to corral the peonies as well!

This garden fence comes with 14 fence panels. They are rounded at the top, but at the highest point, it reached 21 inches in height. 21 inches is actually not as tall as I thought it would be, however, because the fence panel itself is not being pushed into the ground you are not losing any of that height as you do with other fences. Time will tell if it keeps the rabbits out or not. I do like the stakes that come with it that you use to join the panels together - those are what you push into the ground, and because it's one metal stake at a time, it makes it easier to push it farther into the earth. one of the better garden fences that I have found.
