I really liked the ability to use these in many places around my house. It is posable so I used one to accentuate a tree in our front yard and the other one I buy near the back door in our flower garden. Another positive is being solar powered so I didn't have to worry about running an extension cord. I have several of these metal garden fencing kits with similar or different designs and I love them. This is my first set however that offered the animal design that lights up so I figured it was cute so I wanted to try it. I like that the animal is outlined with the lights that have a kinda gold wiring so it lets you see it during the day more easily. But TBH it's difficult to make out what the lights are supposed to be and ends up looking a little odd. Some are easier to tell than others. But that doesn't matter anymore because they stopped working entirely. I've moved them around to ensure proper light for the solar panel but still not working. I'm sure it is because of water damage. I was concerned with the way the lights connected to each other because they were completely exposed with nothing protecting the connection so I figured it was going to be the failure point and it was. It's not the worst thing considering I had a hard time seeing the animal properly when lit anyway. 😆 Everything else is great with the fencing as far as the metal quality and paint job. The spikes attaching to the fencing are secure and not easily removed. If it wasn't for the light situation these lights would've been rated like all the other sets I have, and that's a 5-star. But since that was the main selling feature and reason for going with this set and it failing right away is the reason for the rating. If knowing the lights are most likely going to fail on you doesn't bother you then I go for it ( but why even buy this set in that case?).

This was a cute addition to our Christmas display. Loved the solar aspect of it. They were cute & just bright enough for my liking. They were super easy to set up & extremely easy to take down. The multiple designs are awesome 😎

We have been toying with adding a little fencing around the fig tree to keep the dogs away, but have just not been motivated to buy something.....until finding these with solar lights on each panel! Each individual panel has LED lights added to a center design. A single solar collector connects 5 panels. Each fence panel looks great in the daytime as the designs are beach themed with starfish, sea shells, turtles and dolphins. After a nice sunny day, each panel design lights up nicely. We have not tested these to tell you how long they last through the night, but they did light up immediately out of the packaging after connecting the wires and flipping the switch on the back of the solar panel. These are easy to assemble, and can be placed into the ground with minimal effort, especially after a good rainfall. They are well made with medium weight metal. We look forward to putting these into the ground this coming Spring.

Not only is this lil fence festive with solar lights. It will help keep some of the critters away from my plants. The metal is fairly sturdy. Will set it up soon & take photos for you.
