  • Beautiful and Soft curtains!
Color: Navy Blue Size: 42x84 Inch
I made sure to look at other reviews before buying this, I measured my windows, and my package arrived very quickly.. I seen people say theirs were ripped, lost, damaged so I was worried, but for me I honestly had none of those problems. I ordered it, it came in 2 days, they're the exact size I measured for, and during mid-day with the brightest sunlight, it blocked almost all of the light for me. I bought the Royalty Blue but I seen some people buy the peach or white color so maybe it's not going to reflect most light. Definitely the darker or more solid colours do an amazing job. The curtains are so soft and smooth feeling, like a weird stretchy rubber cloth or something, but it's soft and very pretty. Definitely iron it with steam to get rid of the wrinkles but other than that, I have no complaints at all on my end with the product. Beautiful, thick, it's not heavy at all, blocks the sunlight fantastically, and looks really pretty. It's a decent price too but MAYBE you can find it cheaper elsewhere? I haven't seen a product like this in stores so idk. EDIT: Also, as a side note, since it's been getting colder and my windows are old with big cracks and can't open/close, it gets cold in my room unless I sit next to my heater. To my surprise it does hold the cold wind back pretty decently. It's not completely insulating my room BUT I can definitely feel a difference from having them away from the window and it covering the window. I didn't think it would help with it but honestly it works pretty nicely for me. It won't protect you from a hurricane but if your windows are broken like mine, it's definitely a great way to reduce the weather dropping in on you. ... show more

  • Nice, heavy curtains that are effective at keeping out light and temperature
Color: Black Size: 42x63 Inch
Great curtain, color makes it not stain as easily, and is very effective in keeping out light, heat, and whatnot

  • Patio Door Blackout Curtain
Color: Greyish White Size: 80x84 Inch
Love the grayish white color. Total darkness when pulled. Length is perfect for our door. Material is soft and durable. Super easy to put on curtain rod.

  • Shockingly Effective...
I thought there were two panels per package. The material looks like if you touch it with the slightest grease or lotion on your hands, it will stain. Not for draping near kids. Vinyl backed curtains are best at reducing heat, but I gave these unlined ones a try. Thick fabric, ULTRA light blocking, but I wasn’t sure how much heat black would absorb. I bought these 42” x 63”, as a temporary “cover” to tack across 3 windows in my 800 sq ft apartment. I’m used to central air, but have since downgraded to a smaller place with a simple, small, wall a/c unit. I wouldn’t even turn the machine on, because my East facing windows with just a cheap metal mini blind for a cover—made my apartment 93 degrees at 10 pm. I had to tack these curtains across each window until I could afford the total blackout curtains I want: black on window side, various colors facing inward. $60 and up plus sheers and hardware for four 59” wide windows. I want to add height, so 96” in length. The unexpected expense of new faux wood 2” blinds, light blocking sheers, and the super blackout curtains I wanted-for all 4 of my windows—was too much at once. I came up with a quick fix since I just moved in and didn’t expect such tremendous heat: ONE panel on each window, tacked, does not cover the entire window...BUT does provide enough energy efficiency to keep my apartment 45 DEGREES COOLER, with my a/c unit running on low cool. I live in Holladay, Utah, on the 2nd story, with no tree shade. I work 10 hour days in healthcare. I would come home to 93 degrees at 10 pm. SUPER IMPRESSED with this panel. It did not cover my 59” wide window, since there was just one panel per package. There were even gaps, and I still had a 45 degree difference. I then grabbed white sheets—to reflect more light OUTWARD, to cover the panel, since it looked ugly tacked sideways, with grommets, and gray patterned sheets, over that, to create pretty, makeshift window coverings for 3 of my windows. With these panels in SOLID BLACK, as the “core”, and gray for my West facing window—I’m sitting pretty!—Utility-wise...until I can properly dress my windows all at once. I imagine these could be very useful for tent camping or trailers, to reduce heat. Buying the fabric and making your own curtains is s great idea with this particular fabric. ... show more

  • Finally found TRUE "blackout" curtains!
Color: Black Size: 42x84 Inch
These are TRUE blackout curtains!!! FINALLY I found some curtains that you truly cannot see through. This is (almost) exactly what I was looking for! I went through several other curtains that claimed to be blackout curtains but really, they still let a lot of light through. I had to return several before finally finding these. These really don't let ANY light through, they're fantastic for both my office, where I have to do minute color adjustments on architectural illustrations on my computer monitor AND my bedroom, where the nearby train station's blinding lights keep me up all night unless I wear one of those sleeping blindfolds, which are really uncomfortable. So here are the pros and cons in my opinion: PROS: - They REALLY don't let ANY light in - They are made of very thick, high quality materials - They look fantastic - again, they appear to be high quality. - The metal rings also seem like they are made to last, no fringing of the cloth or anything like that around the rings CONS: - Only one that I can think of and it's something really small: These are 42" in width, and while that will cover some smaller windows, it's slightly small for covering a standard 36.5" wide window. Especially if the double window has a center cap like mine. Due to the curtain needing to "wave" back and forth (because it's held by a curtain rod), the actual width comes out to around 37" total, which just barely covers the window. It would be really nice to see a wider option that we could choose. Perhaps one with a 60" width, which would cover the window and a center gap if you've got one (the center gaps are fairly typical). Overall though, I'd highly recommend these to anyone trying to "blackout" a room! These work better than any other curtains I've seen so far! ... show more
