Just what I was looking for these curtains truly block out all light from outside which is a big help since i work at night and slp during the day.I seen a few reviews stating that they are not true black out curtains, not true the pictures i took are both at the same time during the day one with camera flash one with out. I love how long these curtains are. They are a hit wrinkly in the picture after taking them out of the box. But I’ll wash or steam them. The blackout light capability is very good. I’d say blocks 90% of light but that’s in addition to blinds closed under them.

When I moved from a dark-colored to a light-colored blackout curtain I was skeptical about the amount of light it would shade, especially having a window that faces East. I cannot get over the exceptional quality of these curtains! I have seven sliders in my sunroom and did not want to spend a fortune on curtains. I was a little leery about ordering online because you never really know what you are going to get. I hoped these would be even slightly room darkening. Well they are amazing! Needed a slight ironing due to normal packaging, but I am so thrilled with these curtains that I had to stop hanging them to write this review. Had a film festival of sorts using a projector and a 100" screen and ordered these to completely darken the room. They are a great value. The fabric doesn't feel cheap and I didn't see any wrinkles after I hung them up. Plus they come with ties which was a nice bonus. The only minor issue is that the adhesive holding the Velcro didn't hold from the first time I separated the ends. Easily fixed with glue. ... show more
