I am no fan of the material these curtains are made up. The curtains are made of a material where everything clings to them. NOT GOOD IF YOU HAVE PETS. Very high maintenance!! trying to keep the hair off. I would NEVER be able to wash these and therefore would not work in my house. I have blackout therma curtains in my house from another vender which are heavier and easy to keep clean. Color of curtain suggested a creamier cherry red and the curtains I got were more red red. How the heck were these so inexpensive? These are hands down the best curtains I’ve ever owned. So much so that they were literally delivered about 20 minutes ago, I’ve hung them and came on here this quickly to review them. Now, with that being said, I’ve never paid hundreds of dollars for “really good” curtains, but I am amazed at the quality of these. I purchased a pair from that big red store with the bullseye but they were stiff and didn’t work well on our window width. I took these out of the package and the first thing I noticed is how incredibly soft and smooth feeling the fabric was. Surely these wouldn’t work at all to blackout, I thought. However, we put these on midday, pulled them shut and it was pitch black in the room. Since they’re so soft, they don’t bunch weird and stay exactly in place where I position them. I don’t need tie backs to hold them open. If you’re looking for an inexpensive, high quality curtain, I highly highly recommend these. I did add a few pictures. These were hung straight from the bag and not dewrinkled at all until we would see if they worked so there are a few wrinkles in the photos. I have not yet tried to get them out, but I imagine if they didn’t fall out on their own, 10 minutes or so in the dryer will do the trick. I really recommend you try these. I think it would be incredibly hard to be disappointed. ***ETA - we also purchased the cream color for our living room. Again, super happy. ... show more

When we put up the drapes, they were facing a North, no sun window, I could see my hand through them. They do keep the room cooler though These are beautiful drapes and fabric, and the gromits are a great quality. But, folks, these are far from off white, they are more of a dove gray, but have a slight blue cast to them, luckly my walls are a light gray, so they will be gorgeous in the room, if you have a light blue, this will also be beautiful, but if your looking for white or off white, this is definitely not for you. I think whoever picked the name for these must have had sunglasses on, like my husband did once, he went to buy paint for our shed, had his sunglasses on, and came home with a gallon of purple paint😁 ... show more

Pretty good product. Does its job, easy to set up and inexpensive. NOTE- buy a set that's several inches wider than the window. Maybe this is obvious to others, but they don't spread out the whole way. I ordered the 38inch set for my 73inch and as you can see, there's light seeping through the sides. ... show more

Room is significantly darker, but a manufacturing defect or something has small holes in the finished product that can be annoying if you're nitpicky. I'm rarely hime during the day so it doesn't bother me as much.

    • DON'T LIKE THEM
Size: 38x54 Inch Color: Black
First, I did not like the texture of the fabric. It's silky. Who wants a silky curtain? Second, I purchased the 54" length, not wanting them to hang way below my window, and I really like the look of them about 3" below the window sill. That said, these are supposed to be blackout curtains. I have light shining in my bedroom, through the top of the curtain, through the bottom of my curtain, and even through the sides stretch out 2" on either sides of the window, I still get light shining in from them. The actually part covering the window, does keep the light out, but it's like having a couple of night lights going all the time in the bedroom.. They definitely need improvement in order to be " Blackout Room Darkening Thermal Insulated Curtains." ... show more
