Amazing Curtain. High Quality Blackout

Love these curtains. Quick and easy install. Just popped my current rod off replaced the cutains and resintalled. Only had them for 24 hours. The amount of light that's blocked from the sun is amazing. We get a lot of light throughout the day at this window. I installed it at night... the Wife ended up sleeping through to 10:30am the next day not knowing what time it was! Left them closed during the day to test the light and heat, it works amazing! Minimal light seeping (pic doesnt do justice), I think i could sleep mid-day without issues if I wanted. Definitely noticed the room was cooler overall. Hoping this helps during the 100s+ summers! Black is very sleek. The materials in the fabric feel high quality and heavy duty. Helps with the blackpit aspect. The curtains feel heaver than my last set, but they are not heavy enough to bow the curtain rod itself. I'd say the materials feel durable in comparison to other curtains in the house. But only time will tell.

I’m so impressed with these Deconovo blackout curtains! I got the black 84-inch panels for my bedroom, and they truly deliver on all fronts. They completely block out the light—even in the middle of the day, the room stays nice and dark, which is perfect for sleeping in or watching movies without glare. I’ve also noticed a big difference in temperature—my room stays significantly cooler during hot afternoons, which is a huge bonus. What really surprised me is how well these curtains repel dog hair! I have a large dog who sheds constantly, and I was worried the black fabric would show every little hair. Cheap looking fabric but they were cheap!

So we’re looking for curtains for this apartment I really had some specifics that I needed to fill because the apartment is subterranean. The curtains needed to be a very particular length because I have baseboard heaters in this strange lift, that you can see the video on the wall. I probably search for months to try to find the best deal because after I leave this apartment, I will probably never have short curtains again in these curtains I thought I had found some thing that was just the right length that didn’t look cheap. I was pretty disappointed when they got to my place because when I pulled them out, they definitely seem like that cheap polyester material, but I decided to hang them anyway and see if I could live with him I live in Alaska sooooo light or black out ability is pretty important to me. These actually work pretty well when it comes to that as I would say the black at about 95% of the light and I’m not using them in my bedroom so that 5% is OK , if I had to live with these curtains forever because I bought them in a lynx that would work in future apartments then I probably would’ve sent them back because I don’t like the material. But they were just the right length and I have gotten compliments on them since I hung them , so I’m gonna keep them so if you’re looking for a cheap and darkening curtain and you can live with the fabric material, then I would buy these

Very Good Value - Not the Best for Blackout but Easy to Clean

I did not really purchase these for a complete blackout effect and in my opinion they are not the best curtain you can get for that purpose, but they do a pretty decent job of blocking out light. I have them in my front window which faces north and has an awning so there is no real direct light yet some still get through when they are completely closed. The ones I had previously did a better job for sure, but they had a backing material that helped to prevent light penetration. These do not have that backing and reply solely on the thickness of the fabric. However, the previous curtains I had were ruined when I washed them and dried them on a low setting and the backing material stuck to itself causing the fabric to peel and leaving areas the light could penetrate with no problem. So my intent this time was to get some curtains that were well made, looked good, hung nicely, blocked about 90% of the light when needed, were affordable and were easy to clean - since I smoke I like to be able to wash them once a year or so. These curtains check all the boxes and at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a complete blackout curtain this might not be the best option. If you are okay with about 90% blackout these should serve you well and are a solid value.

Great Quality Blackout Curtains

Starting night shift again soon as someone who worked it previously, I know how important it is to have 0 sunlight coming in when you’re sleeping. These work great, but there is a science to getting a completely blacked out room and if you use these with a regular curtain rod I think you will be disappointed. You need a wrap around curtain rod, sometimes they’re listed as blackout curtain rods. The rod goes all the way to the wall instead of being straight across. This helps block the side light coming in. Onto of the wrap around rod, you should get a double wrap around curtain rod. You can see my set up in one of the pictures I attached plus how dark my room is. I put these blackout curtains on the inside rod because I wanted some color in my room still, so I have thick green curtains on the outside rod for design. The inside rod is designed to be as close to the wall as possible so no light seeps in which is why it’s best to use blackout curtains like this on the inside rod. I would say these blackout curtains block ALMOST 100% of the light if the sun is not directly shining on your window. Doubling up with another thick curtain in front of these makes it 100% blackout.
