I am an avid hand written note taker, and i have a very heavy hand. Most notebook pages tend to rip while im taking notes, but never these ones! I've been using Decomposition books for the past 4ish years, and I dont think i could ever switch back to regular notebooks! I bought this notebook as a backup when i eventually fill up the pages of my two current Decomposition books, as I've already filled up two! I love the kittens in space pattern (I actually have a folder with this pattern!) so of course i had to get it! To be semi technical: The weight of the paper is heavy enough to prevent scratching through, but there is of course going to be denting in any paper if you have a heavy hand like me. The paper is very soft, easy to write on, and while the pages are a little small compared to other notebooks, they are perfect for smaller handwriting. While the price is high compared to basic college-ruled notebooks, the high quality paper, covers, ink, and eco-friendliness all make up for it in the end! ... show more

Sooooo, I am a teacher, and I always love any form of a learning opportunity. I don’t think they show this on the pictures, but there are designs on the inside that show different habitats and the animals that live in them. I got this to write down school notes and reminders and it’s great! I will say, other than the designs, it is a basic notebook. It’s not fully necessary to spend the extra money on this notebook, but if you love a beautiful nature design then go for it! ... show more

I’m not sure what else a review on a notebook needs - sturdy spiral, sturdy covers that don’t bend/tear/wear easily, nice paper with college rule line spacing, pages are easy to tear out but don’t rip out without meaning to. The media could not be loaded. i am using this for a class that i cannot use my ipad in to take notes. the size is great, the style is ADORABLE, the quality is fantastic, mine is a TINY bit beat up but that’s only because i really do throw it around and take it in and out my book bag constantly for class, it holds up well for how i treat it! the colors are natural. the thickness of the cover is great but since it’s not plastic the corners may fringe a little but that’s normal and i would take that over plastic any day!! just means it’s been loved! ... show more

The notebook is beautiful and the art on the inside cover was a pleasant surprise, but it must have been stored near another product that was heavily scented. There was a white dust layer on the notebook that had the odor on it, so I have it cleaned off and sitting in the sun with dryer sheets in the front and back covers. I wanted to order more designs once I fill this one, but not if I'll have to do this every time. It smells like grandma's house hosting a bridge tournament and a single's night at the same time. If I can't get the smell out I'll have to send it back because I can't stomach being close enough to it to write. ... show more
