A must have item if you own an sc live4. Very sturdy one piece, exact snug fit that completely safe guards your controller. Thick enough not to bend. Nice smoky grey color but not so dark you cannot see controls inside. Very hard purchase to make as you are paying $120 for a piece of blown plastic. I waited a year for a sale to no end, finally bought it before they stop making them. The only downfall is you need to find a safe home for it when not in use which adds to the size of your dj (travel) kit. All said and done...an excellent product. Wish they could offer it at a better price, i might have bought a backup as these will eventually disappear. ... show more

It's pretty expensive but it keeps my stuff from getting dusty and possibly damaged. I could've just used cloth but I'm just a fan of this product. I'm extremely happy to own one.

As many others have pointed out, you can practically play the keys under the guard without lifting it up if you have fingernails, and of course that could let in dust and everything else you were buying this for protection from. I'm ok with the gap, it's a limitation of the flat plane they must form these molds to and wanting all the connections in the back to be clear so you don't have to disassemble your whole rig anytime it might sit long enough to collect dust. This atleast lets my cats walk over it like they were always going to anyway but now I can't tell if they have. I've since bought 5 more decksavers for my other instruments, none of which are extremely expensive BUT are all investments in my eye considering the used market is almost higher than the new one at times. And of course these companies will stop making their products before people figure out new ways to use them as has been the case throughout synthesizer history, or people need that older-synth sound as they're too picky to settle on a roland boutique or something from behringer. This is the only one I got for something that isn't an instrument all by itself bc the arturia keystep 37 is the *chef's kiss* of affordable midi controller keyboards. ... show more

The design is bad AND the manufacturing is bad. The design is bad because there is a gap on the front side that lets in plenty of dust, and the manufacturing is bad because it doesn’t fit correctly and one corner is always popping off. Normally Decksavers are great quality but their Keystep 37 cover is a joke ... show more
