Feel like regular coffee is like water? Downing energy drinks like they are going out of style? Kids running circles around you and you can’t keep up? Death wish coffee is here to help! I’ve had my fun so I’ll be serious now and (hopefully) answer the question is this coffee right for you I’ll be up front, this coffee has ALOT of caffeine and if one or two energy drinks is enough to have you jumping, this is not for your. I make this is my own k cup, so it is far more economical than brewing by the pot and I’m able to control my caffeine intake quite a bit better. Ratio of caffeine per cup (brewed at their suggested amount and strength) is about 5-6 cups to one death wish coffee and I usually make it about half strength myself, unless I need a real kick in the butt in the morning myself. A good example when I gave some of my coffee to my in laws while we were on vacation and they forgot their own: my father in law is a normal coffee drinker, while my mother in law is a 2 pot/day coffee drinker. They both had a cup of mine and I’ve never seen them move quite so fast ever. In short: if you need at least 3-4 cups of normal coffee to get going in the day, this is definitely worth a try! ... show more

Psa: Be careful if coffee is a laxative for you. I just want to say before you read the rest I am so sorry. The flavor, the energy it gives you all and all its a 10/10 coffee. I removed 1 star for this vital information. I got this for my fiancé for Christmas and he made us some about an hour ago. Well he made me a huge cup because of your like me without your morning coffee everyone’s life is miserable everything was good I drank it in probably like 15 minutes. This is where I was horribly horribly wrong. It was super strong. So we are sitting at the table helping with the build of a robot when the sweating starts. Okay it's hot the heat is on I'm sitting underneath the vent. Mind you I'm trying to rationalize each stage. So we are continuing with the build process when the gas hits. Nothing crazy just a little gassy. I chock it up to the fact that coffee with creamer in it usually makes me a little gassy so I mentally move on from the subject as I am lactose intolerant. Oh god but I should have prepared The first stomach cramp hits. It's a little one just enough to say hey you may need to use the bathroom in the near future. Okay I have some time let's continue with this stupid robot. Then all three previously mentioned things happen simultaneourelv. Followed by the nauseous I sat there for a minute he looks at me and I'm like I'm good. Also keep in mind I'm tootin but they are silent. Then the third cramp comes. I double over because dear god. Which I'm still thinking I'm just having bad gas. Here is where I'm wrong as I decide I'm just going to let’er rip. Halfway through this I realize I messed up. At this point the bathroom is a 15-20 second walk from the living room. I need to be there in about 5 seconds or I will ruin my pants. I begin to stand and then I just sprinted. By the time I got to the bathroom I was crying. I get where I need to go and just barely sat down and it's like a rocket. I swear to god the speed and the amount of pressure that came I was pretty sure cracked the bowl. Anyways I've been here for the past 45 minutes. I used to buy a 24 pack of Monster every month to fend off my morning blues. Needless to say, this was expensive. I wanted something I could grab right out of the fridge and start drinking immediately lest I take my grumpiness out on the closest unfortunate to grace my presence. I decided, why not start cold brewing and save a lot of money? I purchased a gallon cold brew coffee maker off of a random Amazon seller for 25 bones. Cold brewing was a lot easier than I expected, just throw the grounds in the dispenser and wait for the sweet sweet caffeine nectar. Death Wish's Espresso blend is smooth, bold and flavorful.
