first the watch is great. My grandson is autistic and he uses this to call grandparents and mom. The battery life could be better. oh, a tip if yours is not charging, just clean the contacts on the watch with a pencil eraser. This was purchased July 11, 2023. The screen protector from the factory has done its job but has become very scratched to the point of not being able to see the display. My grandson removed the screen protector, so I contacted the vendor here via amazon support. I was given an email and I asked for a replacement screen protector, but the vendor sent a new watch, complete. This is fantastic service and support from a vendor. Then I researched other screen protectors that may be a similar size. UPDATE REVIEW Thought possible future buyers might like to know that after the watch completed it's third charge, we could no longer get it to turn on. The seller did offer a refund without me returning the product, which went a long way in making me feel better, however, they also asked me to change my review. SO...you know. NO. --- ORIGINAL REVIEW I got this watch for my 7 year old daughter to use while I’m working at the local park. I don’t even know where to begin. The Watch and the app needed to use the watch are both INCREDIBLY frustrating. I haven’t felt this angry over a device in YEARS! It’s not user friendly at all, and I am a tech-savvy person. I’m not sure if it’s just not as compatible with my phone as advertised, or if it’s how the Watch is meant to work, or if it’s because I live in Alaska; but the GPS isn’t working accurately. It just says the Device is Disconnected, but I know it’s not. It only seems to register if my daughter is right next to me, which completely defeats the whole purpose of this device. I had to allow Unknown Callers to call my iPhone in order for her call to come through, even though I added her as a contact (with the number given after registering the Nano SIM card). I tried several different ways to get her call to come through without success until I disabled that feature on my phone: something I vehemently did not want to do. I had to disable the No Stranger Contact on her watch in order for someone in her contact list to call her. All the safety features that made me want this for my daughter are not only frustrating to set up, but don’t work the way I need or want them to. For how much this cost (plus the cost of the Nano SIM card to use it the way it’s intended), I expected an easier to use product that works as advertised. I’m considering whether or not it’s worth keeping or if I should return it. I wanted the peace of mind, and all it’s given me is an abundance of irritation and frustration.     • Great customer service, great watch for kids
I was looking for a smartwatch that would allow my 8 y/o to call or text myself and our family, that had GPS so I could track him when playing with neighborhood friends, plus a few other features without the ability for him to get on the internet/social media … and this watch is perfect for that, at an affordable price. When we had an issue with it earlier on, the seller responded very quickly and has been wonderful with all aspects of their customer service. This is a great option for the age range that you want to be able to speak with them, start your children off with the right amount of responsibility, but they aren’t ready for all the issues that come with unlimited access to the internet.
