I picked one of these up for my 36v 112lb trust trolling motor I bought used that already had a battery tender plug on one end. The guide I bought the motor from recommended staying with the same plug due to its better connection compared to others. I was about to buy the name brand when I came across this one for a third of the price. I figured I would give it a shot and see if it was any good. After about 8 fishing trips that range from 4-6 hours each, the plug is holding strong and never an issue with connectivity. It was 100% compatible with the BT brand, functions exactly the same, and is a much better value. I could see spending the extra for piece of mind if it were my lively hood, but this one works just fine for my needs. Installation was easy and they provide cut out templates as well.

I picked up this trolling motor plug kit for a DC marine setup, and it feels like a much better solution than using a loose or basic connector around the boat. I like that it works with different voltage systems, because that makes it useful for 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V trolling motor setups depending on what you are running. The connection feels secure, and the screw-lock design is a nice feature since boats deal with vibration, movement, and plenty of chances for things to get bumped around. I also like that the kit includes both L-shaped and straight connection options, which makes it easier to route the wiring in a cleaner way for different boat layouts. The included gasket and hardware help make the install feel more complete instead of having to hunt for little extras. This is one of those items where it justifies spending a little extra money for a much better product. They did not cheap out on any of the materials as everything on this is high quality including the plastic and rubber protective cover. All the metal in this is made out of stainless steel, so it's perfect for a marine environment. I do like the design of the design of the quick connect which uses a thumb screw to secure the two halves together ensuring it will not inadvertently get pulled out.

I needed a plug for my trolling motor on my bass boat and I came across this plug and it is exactly what I needed. This plug is easy to install and is a very well designed product. It has a nice rubber cover for when the trolling motor is not in use and it protects it from dirt and water. Very easy to plug and unplug and really makes it simple to install your motor. I definitely recommend this product!

I'm super happy with this trolling motor plug! Installation was super quick and easy, and it feels incredibly durable and well-made, like it's really built to last. It connected immediately and functions great and was a perfect fit for my Minn Kota trolling motor setup. It fixed the problem I was having with loose connections and power loss while out on the water, providing a rock-solid, high-current flow without any overheating. Overall, I think it's a great value!

This trolling motor plug seems to be designed after the name brand model. I think it's a pretty close approximation. It looks like there were some cost cutting measures, but it should be completely compatible and operate the same as the name brand. Installation looks pretty straightforward. You just need a compatible connector plug on your trolling motor cables and this thing should provide a functional outlet connecting straight to your battery bank. It's plenty durable and heavy duty. I'm installing it on a 13-whaler. Note that this is rated for 12 to 48 volts so you're 72 volt trolling motors won't be compatible with this plug.
