A nice power supply for the price. I did some limited testing upon receipt of the power supply, and it performed well. The adjustments are intuitive and easy to make. The displayed values matched test equipment indications, within normal tolerances. Since this is a relatively new purchase, I can make no conclusions about its durability. I need a second low-voltage supply at our ranch for use in bench testing electronics at typical electronics supply voltages levels, sort of 1.5 volts to 18 volts. In particular I wanted to use it to test a rain gauge with LCD display designed to work off of two AA batteries...sort of 3.5 volts down to 2 volts. I wanted to measure the discharge current drawn by the rain-gauge electronics as a function of voltage as the battery discharged, and describe the LCD display brightness and contrast as a function of voltage level. With my other low-voltage bench supply, dialing in a particular voltage in a real hit or miss operation. The course knob always overshoots, then I find that my desired reading is out of range of the fine knob...so I go back and forth several times to get the reading I'm after. The unit was a dream. You just set the knob to control the digit you want to control and it just steps precisely for each click of the knob. In my case I wanted to test in 0.1 volt increments starting at 3.5 volts and dialing slowly down to 2.0 volts. I just set the voltage at 3.5 volts and the knob for 0.1 volt increments. Each click dropped the voltage exactly 0.1000 volts. Infinitely better that my other power supply. The second thing I like about this supply is the second on-off switch on the output...separate from the power on-off for the unit. Another. 50-year-old very-low voltage supply I have has this feature and I use it all the time. With this feature one can set the voltage and current level while the test unit is plugged in and also turn the test voltages on and off without going thru the transients of turning on-off the power supply. Very helpful. I checked the voltages and current w.r.t. my digital multi meter and the agreement was good. However, don't expect it to accurately measure currents of just a few milliamps. For that I used my digital multimeter. Highly recommended!

Didn't work correctly at first, my fault! NORTH-AMERICAN USERS: If you get your unit and it acts flaky, or doesn't wanna go above 24v... Check the little red voltage selector-switch on the back, it's probably set to 230v mains instead of 115v. Unplug it and switch it over, she'll run all the way up to 31v. You may wanna go into the settings menu and kill that chime too, very annoying once the novelty wears off. Pretty decent little unit for the price, not garbage.

Just got it, so take that into consideration when reading this review. However, after opening, powering it on, and spending an hour putting it through some initial testing I am VERY happy with this purchase with the exception of one itty-bitty issue (see last paragraph). Obviously time will tell, but it looks and feels like a quality unit. I purchased the 30v-10a unit and after measuring with a good multimeter, the NANKADF accuracy is dead-on below 15 volts and within .005 volts at higher voltages. That's more accurate output than a wall-wart and most PCB power supplies (7805, etc). The encoder knobs are wonderful and let you dial in the voltage/current level you desire easily and error free. I did not find the audible "beep" when turning/pressing knobs to be either loud or annoying as others have suggested in their reviews, however you can disable this although I found the included instructions a bit confusing. 1) Press the output button continually until the unit goes into setting mode. 2) Press the VOLTAGE button until the AMP number shows "4". 3) Turn the VOLTAGE button until the WATT number shows "0". 4) Press the VOLTAGE button until the AMP number shows "6". 5) Press the VOLTAGE button once more to save the settings and return to operational mode. My only complaint is that after selecting and setting the 4th digit for both the Voltage and Amp displays, the unit automatically defaults to the 3rd digit for subsequent adjustments when it should remain selected on the 4th digit. For example, if I want 25.64 volt output, I select and set the first digit to "2", select and set the second digit to "5", select and set the third digit to "6", select and set the fourth digit to "4". My next turn of the Voltage knob should either increase or decrease the "4" in the fourth digit because that was the last digit I selected. However after a 5 second delay, turning the knob changes the value of the "6" in the third digit and so I have to press the knob moving through the display to get back to the fourth digit to adjust it again. While I don't anticipate spending a lot of time adjusting tens of mV, it is nonetheless a little aggravating.

Someone mentioned that when you adjust voltage with output on the current would not display actual output. I took a chance on this and it does show live current as you adjust the voltage. Same when adjusting current it will show live voltage. Unit is accurate to .020 on voltage and spot on with current. I also verified it will deliver 10 amps all the way to 30v as long as the input voltage is set properly. Beeping dials can be muted very easy through settings. Couldn’t ask for a better value.
