I installed the blue one and used it for a few days. It's not too bright at night and you can easily read it in direct sunlight. The problem I had with it is that the only light on my dash that is blue is the high-beams indicator. I kept seeing the blue from the volt meter and thinking my high-beams were on. So I bought the red one. It's brighter than the blue version. At night, looking in the mirror on the back of my sun visor, I can see that the red volt meter makes my face a bit red, the blue didn't make my face blue. The red is easily visible during in direct sunlight, like the blue. Oh, I can see the red one in the reflection of my front and side windows and it's a bit annoying. The reflection of the blue didn't bother me like the red does. I'm going to have to make a little visor for it. I'm keeping the red one because it matches the red ring around the tachometer, and I'm adding a power switch to the dash that has a red light ring. I want to be able to see the battery voltage before, during, and after I crank my car, so plugging this into the fuse box is not an option for me. (Note: The photo I'm attaching shows both the blue and red models. My camera is ancient and takes horrible photos. These volt meters look so much better in person.)

The product was an easy install, hooked directly into my optional accessories plug on my 2023 Honda CRF 300L Rally. The light is easy to see, and just what I expected, in brightness and visibility. This gauge is the blue one on the left, the red one, on the right, is an add-on heat gauge display. I would be sure to set the gauge where you want it, as the tape only sticks once, I was a bit off, and had to add superglue to get the tape to get it to re-stick.

For the amount of money that this little guy cost it does a very good job. hi there, the motorcycle man here again with another up-to-date honest review on a motorcycle product that works pretty good. I have been trying to find one of these little gauges that has a really big set of numbers and is not too hard to see during daylight hours, and also gives a fairly accurate reading. This guy does the job. Granted it might be just a tad bit difficult to see in daylight hours but it does give you a solid reading on your voltages. There have been comments made, that some people said this product does not update very quickly or is accurate. As far as its display, it takes approximately one to four seconds to update on my motorcycle. And as I'm going down the road it continually gives me a solid update of the amount of volts going back into my battery. I verified the accuracy of the gauge against my fluke and found it to only be off by .01%, in other terms the gauge read 14.4 V and my fluke registered 14.3 V. I'd say that's fine by me. As a motorcycle rider it's really important for us to know what our battery state is, because a dead battery will leave you on the side of the road. This little device which has large blue numbers and is fairly easy to see in the daylight is a good start for maintaining a happy voltage status in your motorcycle battery. Well that's all I have on this little device Oh, I'm sorry, one of the things its ad does say that it's waterproof, I would probably list it as water resistant. I can say that because the other day I washed my bike at one of those car wash stalls and a little bit of water was able to creep in. I found that by applying a little bit of silicon around the edges where the two halves come together solves this problem. Well okay that's it for this review by the motorcycle man I hope it's helpful please feel free to ask many questions if you have them try to be as honest with those questions as I am with my reviews.

Perfect for measuring LiFeP04 battery voltage. Operating voltage for these type batteries is 13.3vdc at 90 percent of full charge and 12.9vdc at 20 percent of depletion (DoD) so accuracy is very important. All 4 meters are accurately reading each battery and were cross checked with a very expensive voltage meter. These voltage meters are on 24/7 and have shown to be very stable and consistent. I would not hesitate to purchase or recommend to other engineers.

First, the good. Unit is solid, and the display is clean and very legible, even in the sun. Next, the caveats. The lead wires are very thin, and don't come with any terminals, as is common on other units. I needed to crimp on terminals, and due to the small wire gage, also needed to solder the conductor to the terminals. Not the end of the world, just an extra step. My biggest gripe is that there is no off switch, so the display runs continuously if connected directly to a battery. Other users have suggested wiring the positive to a place that is switched on, which is valid, but an extra layer of complexity. The power draw is small, but not nothing, and I expect that left connected directly to a battery would incapacitate the vehicle if left sitting for a couple days. All in all, not a bad product, especially for the price, just a couple things to note that might complicate installation.
