I don't know who the sizing chart created by Daytona Helmets is supposed to apply to but it damn sure isn't meant for me!! I ordered this "Come & Get 'em" in a size Large after triple-checking their sizing recommendations - 1st by referencing my hat size, 2nd by measuring my head in inches, 3rd by converting inches to cms. And yet when the damn helmet showed up IT WAS TOO SMALL!!! Back it went -- AND -- the damn supplier (Shopena) charged a 10% restocking fee! Being a glutton for punishment, I guess, I ordered a different Daytona Skull Cap helmet from a different supplier because I couldn't find this particular model at a decent price in a size XL. So, the XL shows up -- AND IT TOO IS TOO SMALL!!! Back it goes, this time without the restocking fee... Lessons learned: - I'll never buy a Daytona Helmets motorcycle helmet. THEY ARE TRULY DISAPPOINTING. - only buy a motorcycle helmet in-person where you can try it on before purchasing ... show more

Surprisingly, the package arrived 3 days early via USPS. At first I was apprehensive because the order online said I bought a XX Small when I know I get an XX Large. That was alleviated when I opened the box to find my size. I have a weird shaped head with a ridge on the top. This helmet for perfectly! It came with a protective bag and a doo rag to put on so you won't get helmet head. I love the design of dark roses connected with barbed wire. I'm not much of a skull person but those designs look good too. Regardless what others have written here take it from someone who's been riding for 40 years, these are good fitting, good looking brain buckets. ... show more

My head based on measurements was M, ordered a L to be safe and it is so tight and uncomfortable. Will probably return it. My husbands XL is still tight on me, so i am sure it will be too tight for him also. They are definitely not the thin style “skull cap.” They are just your average helmets with designs in them. The only thing I like so far is the clasp. Might wear it around for awhile and see if I change my opinion. Each helmet does come in a helmet bag and with a key chain. ... show more

love everything about it, but it didnt fit right, i have a 53cm head, ordered a small, and it falls down over my ears, and sits in a way that my ears are being pulled down, and cannot get glasses over them. there is not much room or cushion side to side. This is the 3rd helmet I’ve ordered. I measured my head and ordered the size according to the chart but the small and medium were too small. This large was bigger but it was just too tight. My husband ordered an XL and that fit like my small. Lol. You have to keep trying to find you size. Chart is way off. Or maybe they just put anything in whatever box. Feels like it. Awesome helmet! It fits great! I love the fact if doesn’t look like I m wearing a big mushroom on my head. The graphics look good and I love the ratchet release. My wife and I share head size so I purchased a full helmet and this one. When she is not riding I have my choice of either one. Now I am looking forward to my basic motorcycle class to regain some of the kills I have lost in the past 10 years. This helmet is much more slimmer and lighter than my full face helmet. We recently moved from another state where helmets are not required. I bought this for my boyfriend. He was apprehensive because he’s not happy about wearing it. He either wears it or doesn’t ride… right? First day out he was thrilled to be riding again and said this helmet wasn’t bad.
