Bought this in conjunction with Dayco 89269 Automatic Tensioner Assembly to get rid of groaning sound during cold starts. Worked perfect and truck is now quiet. Will update if anything changes.

My water pump leaked. Since I had it to replace and the original belt had 139K miles, figured it was time to replace it too. Once I removed the top portion of the fan shroud, fan/clutch and used an extended 3/8" drive bar to roll the belt idler down, it was easy to remove the old belt and install this one. Comparing the OEM belt to this one, the quality of the OEM belt appears a little better. Even with the high mileage the old belt didn't have any fine-line breaks. I keep forgetting belts don't last forever😭😂😭😂. But i had a fan blade break due to water pump failure. Which caused fluid to get on everything. Shop told me I could not reuse the 7month old belt. So I order this belt. I've been quite since. Way better made than other belts I've used. And last longer. Advance and AutoZone has this brand as top dog. I Google too brand for my truck and that too came up as this brand. Difference is; I got it cheaper from Amazon. LOL. I wasn't paying 50 for a belt. Before that issue.
