I bought 4 strands of these lights. It was my intention to make it look like there were twinkling lights on the ceiling of my craft room. After struggling to put the 2 first strands up one circuit board fried within the first 24 hours of intermittent use. Then I replaced the strand with a new one thinking it was a fluke but no. The first strand I put up stopped working. The circuit fried on it too. So then the third strand fried and the 4th in turn fried as well. So it's a waist of money. Not a fluke, just an inferior product. Lesson learned.... shouldn't have gone all in on these lights. ... show more

These are cute fairy lights. I like that there is a remote control to turn them off and on and a timer function. Not difficult to figure out either. These aren't bright but just right for the ambiance.

These do what it says on the tin -- they provide 10 strands of lights, controllable by a button the plug and by remote. All the lights showed up in good working order and they were easy to unroll/untangle and set up. The USB power cable they come with is long enough to make it the top of the curtains. The remote feels extremely flimsy but it does work and has a reasonable range. There are a few minor downsides: - they are powered by USB, but they don't come with a wall adapter. I don't really mind it that much as any old one lying around the house will work, but still. These adapters are so cheap it would have been nice to get one. - like most LED lights they are powered in pulse width modulation, meaning they can flicker. In this case the modulation is almost fast enough that you can't see them flicker much, but if you're very sensitive to these things they may bother you. - these lights have 8-9 modes (depending if you count 'off' as a mode) but some of them blink so fast they are functionally useless, and should almost come with a photosensitive epilepsy warning. However the more relaxed modes look very nice. ... show more

Basically, there isn't anything wrong with the item, but they are an absolute nightmare to work with. The lights are strung on very thin wires that knot extremely easily and the hooks provided to attach the lights to hang them up are very rigid and small. I spent over 2 hours attempting to attach them to my sheer curtains and because of the above noted issues I only got 4 strands attached. At that point I gave up and made arrangements to return the 3 boxes I had purchased. If you have more patience than I did, these may be what you need, just be prewarned. ... show more
