My spouse had to have open heart surgery and was advised to bring along pajama bottoms so I ordered these pajamas, assuming he would use the complete set once he returned home. But, to our surprise , he used the whole set in the hospital , much better than flapping in the breeze in those skimpy hospital gowns. They’re well made, look classy and have a nice streamlined appearance. . , He insists on pockets in his pajama bottoms and these had 2 pockets in the bottom part as well as a bonus pocket on the pajama top. He was extremely pleased by this. So they turned out to be perfectly functional for his needs and comfortable enough to wear after major surgery, stretching well but not too loose. The fabric is not too thick or heavy, perfect during his recovery as well as at home. These should last a long time, making them worth every cent. And so far, after several washings, the color hasn’t faded. .

Day 1 review. I was initially hesitant to buy these because they are a little more expensive than what I usually pay for but upon opening they are very nicely packaged, very nice and neatly folded. The color and look is exactly as advertised. After taking them out of the washer and dryer I put them on and immediately felt how soft they are, they are the heaviest and thickest pajamas I've ever had but that's not a bad thing, it's like being wrapped up in a very soft blanket that also breathes very well! the top is long enough that it goes past the bottoms, it's slightly baggy and a little stretchy, the wrists don't stretch but are very open so that won't be a problem, the breast pocket is very deep, it has pants pockets on both sides. The only negatives I'd say are the drawstrings are very long, goes down to right above my knees and the pant legs go past my feet so it's best to wear slippers with these. Other than that very solid pajamas, would buy again. Will post an update after owning for a year.

Although the top fit in size medium, I found the pants' elastic band in medium was too tight and, for me, made the pants feel uncomfortabale to wear. Perhaps with younger men, with smaller hips, the pants would be OK. The drawstring around the waist could make the pants tighter, but not looser. I wear a size 34 waist pants. The material used should accurately be described as a light weight flannel, which is soft and comfortable.

So far so good. Thes are soft but not silky soft. I now have three and have had no trouble with them. Moving from Hawaii back to California, at 81 im now wearing pajamas for the first time as an adult because it’s cold.
