Description

“Dark Blue Waves” is an emotionally-charged voyage in and of itself. Together, both the author and reader set sail along tumultuous waters, reach the eye of the storm, and are then led to still waters ignited by golden sunrays. Both deeply personal and inherently relatable, Cheyenne Bluett’s words have a way of reminding each reader that they are far from alone and no matter how dark life gets, hope still exists. This true story of immense healing, personal transformation, and facing your darkness head on is dedicated to this world’s overcomers, empathic souls, and soul warriors. Please note this book talks about some sensitive and triggering topics such as suicide, mental health disorders, abuse, toxic relationships, and self harm Read more

  • This book proves life gets better.
This book is honest and hopeful. The first part of the book is dark but something that needs to be talked about more often. The world can be a scary place but knowing others have faced some of the same struggles and overcome it provide hope for others. I have struggled with my mental health and have felt like no one else understands. This book is uplifting, inspiring, and encouraging. I have loved every book I’ve read by this author. This one is my favorite one because of the real and rawness of her words. You can tell how much this book means to the author and you can feel how genuine of a person she is just by reading about her life and seeing everything she has overcome. She is a life savor and a blessing to many. This is a book everyone needs if they’ve ever felt super depressed or suicidal. ... show more

  • I have recommended this book to all my friends.
This beautiful book took me on a full blown journey of love, fear, self hate, toxicity, hope and finally happiness. Cheyenne did an amazing job of painting an intense picture of what is like to love someone who doesn’t deserve you and the damage it can cause you emotionally and physically. The pain of believing whole heartedly that we may never love another like we loved that one particular person. She digs deep into what it is like to experience and come to terms with our mental illness and the insecurities that come with that. The rocky road one must sometimes travel to make it through to what we were indeed intended for in the first place; is wonderfully captured in these pages. I’ve recommended this book to all my friends! ... show more

  • Beautiful and emotional book
This book hit me right in the heart. I mean it. I teared up to these poems, knowing I lived through them, knowing the author had to live through them too. It’s pain, it’s emotion, but it’s also growth and love. This book is for the person who cries whole heartedly in the car while screaming song lyrics. To the person who sobs in bed and feels daggers in their heart, who can’t get over ‘it’, who relives their memories from time to time. This book is both a recollection of experiences, and a new start for us all. Read this book, you won’t regret it. ... show more

  • Simply Amazing!
I loved this book! I myself have had many dark days and lived with someone so toxic, this book brought back some of those memories but it also reinforced where I am at today in my current relationship. This book is a journey of someone who has gone through hell and back and still learned to love themselves. Absolutely amazing! <3 ... show more
