These knobs are pretty well constructed for the price. As far as I can tell, they are brass, but I didn't cut into one this time since the kit only included 2. Grinding the base a little didn't reveal zinc, and they feel solid and heavy, so I'm going to assume they are solid brass. The ring-pull wasn't initially as smooth to lift up as I would like, but after articulating it a few times, it settled nicely and falls back into place easily. I'm going to use them on a large keepsake chest for a friend, and I'm sure they're going to look nice with it. ... show more

These cabinet pulls are so delicate, ornate, and dainty looking. They feel a bit hallow rather than weighty to me, but that's okay for the DIY project I had in mind for these two. They operate smoothly and don't catch or wiggle much when opening the drawers. Installing was a breeze and the hardware was all included outside of a screwdriver, which is great in my books. The coloring and patina is bright and harkens to a more retro, old-school style while still retaining the shine of something fresh. It's detailed enough to fit my personal aesthetic and large enough to be a focal point of an otherwise bland set of drawers on my desk. I like them, and if they were a bit heavier, I'd give them the full 5-stars. Still, I'd recommend them. ... show more
