These arrived and I put them on - there is absolutely no break in period. They are fairly supportive compared to other sandals. But wouldn't really mesh with people that need arch support. I'm super pleased with these because they are very cute comfortable, extremely true to size and the Velcro straps make them adjustable so you can wear them. Barefoot or with socks (I live in Seattle). I would buy them again If they came in other cute colors. I chose the black and the only thing I don't like is the buckle is gold - I prefer silver. Not only is this sandal attractive, but it is extremely ergonomic and helps with plantar fasciitis. This is my third pair of Dansko shoes and I will continue to buy more! The straps are quite sturdy, the leather is a light tan color and they are extremely easy to slip on and off. The color is much lovelier than the photo. It’s lighter and more taupe than tan. Do not go by the photo. The shoes feel great on but I removed the buckle because I have to open the top Velcro strap wider which exposes a tiny metal stub that keeps the buckle in place but then rubs on the side of my foot. Dansko has really made some weird choices in the shoes lately and though I keep trying, I keep returning their shoes. Not my go-to anymore, sadly. Not every shoe needs a buckle. ... show more

So happy to get a pair of clogs ( in form of sandals) again. Comfortable. The arch does hit a little funny on my now old feet but I just get it positioned for comfort and tighten straps. I normally wear at 6.5-7 in US shoes but always wore a 36 when I wore clogs throughout my life. I did order a 37 (6.5-7) because of reviews but returned and now have the 36's which fit. If you go to the actual Troentorp/Dansko site, it will give you the actual length in inches/mm, so you can order correct size. ... show more
